It will be interesting to see whether the skateboarding community and its allies will show up en masse to a City Council meeting during the public hearing.

I'm waiting for someone to form "Skateboarders of the World, UNITE!" to fight for the rights of all skateboarders.

Although to position themselves as an advocate for a broader constituency, this group might call themselves the "Coastal Device Users Coalition" to support the rights of roller skaters, scooter users, toy vehicles drivers, and other human-propelled vehicle advocates.
