$65 Million
If anyone has $65 million to spare and is looking for an affordable, city getaway, this 20,608 square foot San Francisco property on Broadway near Presidio Park is still for sale.
Thank goodness the property comes with four parking spots.
But with 20% down payment of $13 million and 6.25% interest rate on a 30-year mortgage, the monthly payments would only be just a little over $320,000.
Right now, the most expensive residential home listed in the Chico Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is 1579 Muir Avenue - a seven bedroom, four+ bath, 7,300 square foot home listed at $1,979,000.
The most affordable residential unit currently listed for sale in Chico is 1412 Cherry Street - a 2 bedroom, one bath, 864 square foot condo listed at $141,500.
Forbes recently published "America's Most Overpriced Real Estate Markets".

$65 million, that's more than I make in a month!
Check out this listing in Orland for 6950 acres at $130K...
Oh, that's a "typo", but I did see 12 acres for $170K. Not the kind of thing you'll find around here.
Here's more Orland Real Estate, which is where an increasing number of Chico families will start looking for first homes...http://www.orland-ca.com/real_estate.htm
