Commuting and telecommuting

As the price of gas continues to rise, the cost to employees of commuting 20, 30, 40 minutes or more each way to work is making life difficult for commuters. In 2000, when local residents took part in the Census, data showed that at least 4,201 Butte County workers commuted a hour or more to work.
