In a 2007 study, it was determined that Sweden was the least religious country in the world. In other words up to 85% of the Swedish citizens were either a non-believer, atheist, or an agnostic, which would explain the lack of sexual morals in the way the Swedish people live their lives.  Culturally speaking, Sweden is one of the most sexually immoral countries in the world, an accusation they claim to be unfair.  They do not consider themselves to be immoral, but rather sexually liberated.  However, I am now convinced that the criminally insane perverts are now running things in Sweden.   What else can explain the complete lack of common sense in Sweden's prison  system.   In a case that has shocked and surprised even many of the most sexually liberated citizens of Sweden, a convicted rapist was escorted to a sex shop by none other than his prison guards.  The visit happened during a recent supervised leave despite being on a strict non-porn rehabilitation regime.

The prisoner, being held at the Skogome prison near Gothenburg, was on a short period of leave in the town of Kungsbacka, where he was accompanied by two guards. An hour and a half before he was due back at the special facility for sex offenders, the guards suggested taking a trip to a sex shop in the town.  The sex offender claims he did not know where they were taking him until after they arrived at the sex shop. According to a letter he sent to the Göteborgs-Tidningen newspaper, the guards spent a considerable amount of time inside the shop.   .

The shop in question sells all types of sexual aid devices from magazines, lubes, dildos, to inflatable sex dolls. All three men purchased goods at the sex shop before the guards heading back to the prison with the inmate. The inmate claims that he only purchased something to prove to the authorities that he was in the shop. The inmate was quoted as saying,
 

"I can't understand how staff at a jail for sex offenders can trick a prisoner to go into a shop like that,"

The regional manager of the Swedish prison and probation service, Lisbeth Malmqvist, stated that the visit was

"unfortunate, and it goes against everything we teach in our treatment programs."

When questioned by their superiors, the prison guards excuse was that they believed the store was a joke shop that it was only selling items that were a parody of sexual items.They denied any knowledge about the shop dealing in sex toys and paraphernalia. I want to ask anyone who reads this, have you ever unintentionally stepped into a sex shop and purchased items with out completely understanding just what it is you are paying for?  (What exactly is a parody of a sexual device or sex magazine?)
    
As if all that was not bad enough, the prison and probation manager accepted the guards excuse that the whole trip was an unfortunate error, and that there will be no further investigation into the matter. HUH?
 
This my friends is America's future if we do not get rid of the idiots in power soon. Otherwise we will be soon reading about such furloughs and porn shop trips for those convicted of sex crimes in the United States. After all, we already call punishment rehabilitation, why not allow such privileges to the inmates of our universities of higher learning for the criminally convicted?
