For better or for worse is not just a good thing to remember in marriage, it's a pretty good policy for life in general when it comes to friends also. Sometimes we forget that humans are not the only ones effected by disasters. Man has been domesticating cats and dogs for thousands of years, and when disaster strikes we forget that they still depend upon us. In the case of these dogs, they have since been rescued and are well on their way to recovering from their ordeal. The dog hurting the most has been sent to a clinic in Mito, while his friend who refused to leave his side is being cared for in the same town they were rescued in.
