Some Emily Drews news

Former Pleasant Valley standout Emily Drews and the sixth-seeded Biola University women¹s basketball team defeated No. 3 seed Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.), 65-57 in the first round of the Division I NAIA tournament Thursday.

Drews scored three points and grabbed two rebounds in 12 minutes to help the Eagles (20-11) earn their first 20-win season since 2003-04 and third in the last 19 years.

Biola faces second-seeded Lee University (Tenn.) in the second round. Trevecca Nazarene, last season's tournament runner-up, finished 25-8.
