Letter to Joe Canzoneri of Magalia and everyone

I have a question for Joe Canzoneri, the recent letter writer on the rampage against changing marijuana and drug policy, who lost his son by overdose.
First, my sincere condolences to he and his family.
Joe, you really need to ask yourself that had funds been available for treatment for your son's addiction and programs to focus his youthful energies , would he be alive today. After all, what you are advocating is the keeping the status quo drug policies that clearly attributed to your son's death and I don't get it. Do you want our sons and daughters to die too?
Look Joe, and readers out there, there are better ways to spend our scarce money to alleviate drug use than to continue to waste it on prison guards and police salaries. It is next to impossible for an addict to get into methadone treatment for years and this is not my idea of treatment anyway. We could empty thousands upon thousands of prison beds with a simple change in policy, and fill those beds with folks with addiction and mental problems. We could free our decent law enforcement people to focus on more safety and violence issues. We can extract the profits that fuel gangs and their violence by changing policy. We could control the distribution of marijuana in a safe way instead of how it is now done, as it is and always will be there, don't kid yourself.
Keep an open mind during this debate.

Marijuana, think before you speak

I read with much interest Principal Jim Hanlon's letter concerning his concerns about the legalization of Marijuana and its affect on his high school students. I agree that its use by students causes motivation to plummet, truancy to increase, and other problems.
However, he must know that marijuana is now and always has been fully available to every student who wants it for many years before Prop 215 was passed. Denying this would be untruthful.
What is needed, especially from well intentioned and caring people like Jim, is developing an approach to this problem that truly has the desired outcome.
First, we need to realize that pot is used by as many people that use alcohol and will continue as such for pain relief, stress relief, and social recreation, and these people see it as within their rights to do so.
Secondly, we need to realize that the scarce funds in our government cannot continue to be wasted on failed policies, like the "drug war", and need to be focused on expanding after school sports, arts, and other activities that focus our kids into positive activities. We need to accept that we cannot keep drugs away from our children and can only keep our children away from drugs. How about we unlock the cells of the pot offenders and dump the prison guard budget into our kids.
Lastly, we need more Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts, Girl Scouts, Soccer, field trips, and meaningful activities for our kids, not law enforcement.

Also, the teachers fight with reckless abandon for their benefits and pay, which are out of line with the taxpayers that support them, without regard for how they affect the sacrificing of the sports and other programs that curtail drug use of their students, so it is very hard for me to accept as sincere anything that purports to have the true best interests of our kids in their focus. I am sorry, but it is obvious that the primary concern of our educators at all levels (except for a few diamonds) is for their own selfish benefit. Throw out your unions and educate our kids at a fair price and you will have your salary payors' respect once again. Don't do it and we will find a way to get rid of you and your union. I promise.

Cuba and other countries need to "piss up a rope!"

We tightened our flight pokicies to apply special screening to certain countries, like flights from Cuba, to protect our national interests. Of course Cuba protested as are other countries on the anti-american list. I am sure the liberal ilk's bleeding hearts' will thob in dismay at such insensitivity towards our enemies, and plead that they be allowed unfettered access to our country, regardless of their hate for our American ways and beliefs in personal freedom.

Screw you liberal idiots. But, I will agree that your Muslim loving president, Mr Obama, put countries like Cuba who has never launched any terror towards out country on such a list. and ignored Saudi Arabia that spawned the radicals that perpetuated the 9-11 tragedy.

I don't get it! I don't like it! How about we put all Middle easter countries the watch list like they should be? Oh, I forgot, we all deserve to be bombed and our children butchered so we don't commit the vile act of racial profiling! What was I thinking! Racial profiling is an essential tool if we really plan to protect America from terrorists.
Do you want to your kids to be blown up in a plane trip to Washington to visit the capital on a field trip because our airport police were busy searching the shoes of an eighty year old grandmother in a wheel chair from Aida Oklahoma instead of stopping the Twenty two year old middle eastern man behind her?
Does this sound stupid and insane? It is!
Look, for the most part, the only ones that cry about racial profiling are the ones that are either here illegally or are actively or tacitly supporting those that fit a profile that are dangerous to our people.
Sure the Muslim community, and/or the radicals whom purport to represent it, decry the stopping of middle eastern men in particular at our airports because of their race or color. If these anti American fanatics don't rebel , we will stop them and prevent our planes from exploding with hundreds of passengers on them. That is not good for their agenda, is it? That is the sole logic behind the bizarre concept of "racial profiling". This is not prejudice, it is common sense and fairness to the American people.
And this goes for the Hispanics that are at the Home Depots looking for work and near the border. Sorry, This is our country and you are illegal and we have a right to protect and preserve it as we know it and not have it turned into a lawless, corrupt (I should say more corrupt) country than it is.

Ninety percent of the kids born in San Diego county last year were babies of poverty class illegals, mostly fromj Mexico. Then they become citizens and our welfare problem and start by not paying their hospital bill for the kid they had, bankrupting the hospitals here.

Obama and his scumbag ilk now plan to legalize twenty to thirty million illegal aliens, mostly Mexicans. This will be the end of prosperity for sure in the USA. These illegals are not the engineers and brain surgeons of Mexico, but of the bottom of the economic ladder, many who cannot even read in their own language. These are future voters who, along with the existing welfare classes that pay no taxes towards the support of the infrastructure of America, will use their clout to vote in new taxes on the successful and therefore drive a stake through our economy's already fragile heart.
I think Obama has an agenda to destroy our country and our way of life and I believe his ilk, like Pelosi and Frank, are simply insane and so ignorant that they very well should be institutionalized. I don't think that Obama even realizes that he is destroying our country more than he means to.
Sure, he is a radical Muslim sympathizer and a power hungry socialist. He and his reverend Wright hate and want to "God damn America". I just don't think he realizes that he is taking us down the road to an economic level that can only result in collapse and pandemonium.
Of course, maybe he does. If this collapse happens, he certainly would have to declare Marshall Law and suspend the elections for the good of his power hungriness. Maybe by that time he will have built the "domestic security force as large as our military" that he promised in his campaign. Surely it would become a valuable asset to a dictator that needs to quell the masses of people that truly love America and despise what he and his co-conspirators have done to it. Hell, without that domestic army, the right wingers might win and take their country back before he hands us to Iran on a silver platter.
I would like for a bunch of readers to respond with any good reasons to support illegal immigration and their subsequent legalization, along with their logic behind such thinking. I doubt anyone but the true bleeding heart, insane, and ignorant liberals can even begin to conjure up such logic.
I want to mention too, that today I was reading about some "Mexican/American" immigrant who is not an American, but a Mexican that happened to come here to America to try and ruin it by turning it into a lawless, corrupt nation like that she fled from. She is operating a real-time text alert system in Arizona to alert illegals of immigration raids that this worthless bitch calls "profiling". She should be immediately arrested for conspiracy and deported back to whatever crap pile town in Mexico she was from, after she gets out of prison. I am sick of this crap and so are most Americans. We just have a bunch of liberal idiots in the media, education, and the government that are out of touch with our countrymen and women that ignore the reality of such policies because they are too ignorant and short sighted to see what they are doing and will only realize it when their agendas actually manifest themselves in front of their faces, which will be too late.

Ride the Wave! No new taxes Bureaucrats - cry if you want!

The last thing we should do right now is raise taxes in any way, shape, or form. Our country is at a crossroad where we can opt for real economic survival or follow the gluttonous Romans to our demise.
Living within our means in order to balance our budget is absolutely essential and is expected of us by our creditors in the world. It is also impossible to raise taxes above a certain amount, which we have reached, or we will self implode, which we are in the process of now.
We have momentum right now, especially at the local and state level, in making drastic cuts in every department and agency. Daily we hear the cries from the "suffer citizens, but don't touch my pie" bureaucrats in education, public service, welfare, and prisons. We need to cut all those budgets by another 20% next year and do some real soul searching as a nation so we can establish our real priorities that will coincide with our true financial capabilities.
The federal government has yet to wake up to our economic realities. They manipulate the numbers and ignore the wants and wills of the taxpayers and needs push their responsibilities off to local municipalities and states, as we all know what runs downhill.
And, by ignoring taxpayers, I mean just that---those that actually pay taxes--- while they pander to the illegal aliens, welfare rolls, the public employees, and the rest of the people who have everything to gain by bleeding the real supporters of this country's needs and infrastructure. It has to stop and the only way to stop it is by refusing to allow these dirt-bag politicians to put their taxation screws to us any more.
We need less scum bags on disability and welfare. We need to call illegal kids dropped on our soil the illegals they are and deport them back right along with their parents. We need less prisoners, jails, and prison guards. We need to expect our educations system to work and get paid like the rest of us and to be accountable for the goals of their industry, which is educating many or all at a realistic cost.
We need more potholes in our roads and more volunteer fire departments. We need to abolish the usurious practice of "prevailing wage" jobs as graft to the unions for their member's votes. We need make absolutely certain that no person in our public institutions earns one dime more than that in the private sector including their benefit package.
The time is right, the need is certain, and the momentum is here. Lets capitalize on it all! We must fight for now new taxes and even tax cuts. We have to get the massive pork out of the bloated self-perpetuating bureaucracies that have grown like cancer. We need to re-make America and this is the most critical step in so-doing.

I am inclined to believe that if the Taliban had the where-with-all to establish a government there and Al-queda established such a stronghold and aliance with the Taliban, that it is very possible for a democratic style government to establish itself as well.

I am sure that it will take a long term financial commitment by the concerned nations to build a police force to contain and rule rogue tribal areas, but it is essential and inevitable, as evidenced by Pakistan's current situation. These wild foothills of the Himilayas cannot be left as a hideout and haven for Al-Queda. And remember, Pakistan is nuclear armed and these militants have launched a full assault upon the government there. Our moves in Afghanistan is clearly a squeeze play in concert with the Pakistani government.

Most Americans do not understand the concept of "winning" in Afghanistan. This is because they see Afghanistan as some modern civilized county like ours, when in fact it is closer to the wild west days of Doc Holiday's. Most of the country has no electricity, people can't read, and it consists largely of tribes scattered about and, has very little centralized government. That is why it was so easy for the Taliban to establish itself there and would be once again if we weren't there.

Winning there is not a matter of killing in most cases, although some killing is essential. Winning, means that we guide the modern day need for a centralized government to a democracy that is not radically inclined instead of letting the radical Muslims establish their model of government there. Once it is established as a democracy, and centralized, we need not control it but at least we will have a governing body to relate to, communicate with, align with, or war with. Hopefully, the people there will want peace as most folks do and this tribal nation will transition into the modern world with acceptance.

Oddly enough, Pakistan is also in this process. This is a nuclear armed nation that only now is in the act of centralizing its control over the wild mountains in its country that are identical to Afghanistan's and in the process of weeding out the radical Muslim strongholds there that have recently threatened their core government and its civilized people. They must win by killing these radicals and we must win by killing the radicals in Afghanistan. Most of these radicals in both countries are not even native to these countries. They have been planting their vile seeds in these remote back countries and preaching their biased hate to these illiterate Muslims turning them as radical as they can influence them to be, and have built a base in that culture that must now be dismantled by us and the Pakistanis.

Professor Wolfe's anger in his response to my call for the education bureaucracy to get off their high horses and grasp the reality of our country's need to live within our means is to be expected. He and his liberal ilk, just can not fathom that money doesn't grow on trees. The hey-day is over my friend-- get a grip.

You can't get a job at a private university at 200% higher wages, as you claim, or you would be there. Matter of fact, other than in the bloated education industry that you are in, your only hope for a job would be to become a prostitute for some mega drug, agricultural, or petrol concern in promoting their agendas, which you may not want to rule out at this point.

Our economy has failed, and is worsening with Obama as economically ignorant as he is, and we will be adjusting the labor costs of every industry in America to survive. This especially includes the bloated government bureaucracy that has grown like a cancer, and which you are part of.

I don't believe in government bailouts at all, as you suggest. Raising taxes anywhere is ignorant of the fact that we are simply living at a make believe, non-sustainable level that will cease soon, with or without our will or want.

Here we go again on the illegal immigrant amnesty trail! What in the Sam's hell are these liberal scumbags thinking about and why in the hell isn't every Republican leader up in arms against this rape of America???

The Dems are now proposing that we open the door for the 30 million illegals here now, to stay here, and become taxpaying (non-taxpaying), productive (welfare recipient), Americans ( that don't speak english and will enlist the ACLU for their right not to), decent (70% of our federal prisons are illegals), good ol' Americans.

The republicans are silent as they need to be whores to these possible voters themselves.

Us Americans, means-while, are simply apathetic pawns to be sacrificed for the good of these political parties in vying for the future votes of these future welfare recipients who will vote our country into an abyss that will cause its destruction.

Our political parties have lost complete touch with the Constitution of the United States, our national identity, our national security, our national financial well being, and pretty much everything except their own goals of power and corruption.

Why can't we hear that illegals are being thrown out and that the constitution is being changed so that when any illegal alien plops a kid out on our soil it belongs to the country of its parents, not our country? Government Workers need to Wake up and smell the coffee!

Cutting our college enrollment by 10% is a shameful embarrassment about the CSU system.

We need to grow it by that much or more immediately for the good of our country. But, we taxpayers just can't afford it. We need to demand that it be managed like a private industry and make it grow and hold its costs where they are.

Teachers need salary and benefit cuts and longer hours just like the tax payers that are supporting them. This pork barrel, tenure driven, inefficient, obsolete bureaucracy needs to meet its timely death and we need to assure that our student's tuition and our tax dollars are allocated such that our country's goals of educating our young is met instead of assuring our professors that their jobs are secure, their benefits are top of the line, and their work loads are minimum.

Same for the CSUC teachers who are faced with their 3 day pay cut to a whole 180 days a year from the grueling 183. There are 360 days in a year! Both figures are half a years work! Take your pay cut or you and your unions take a hike!

All schools should be run by charter school type private industry any you teachers and all government workers better wake up and smell the coffee --- money don't grow on trees!

Surely the Counsel on Islamic affairs will accuse us Americans of prejudice and over-reacting and clerics nationwide along with the entire international Islamic community will riot in the streets for our anti-Islam actions and demand we apologize immediately.

I have a better idea. How about we tell them all to go piss up a rope! How about going over to Osama Bin Ladin's stretch of the woods in the lawless hills of Afghanistan and Pakistan and hold up your sign? We want peace --- their religion preaches violence, without exemption, unless you accept their god as your own. Are you idiots suggesting that to obtain peace we should all convert to Islam and start genitally mutilating our daughters and stoning to death gays and adulterers? Is that what you want us to do to have peace? After all, that is all these zealots will accept for us to have peace.

Go hold your signs up in Saudi Arabia and see how long your neck stays attached to your shoulders. Take your Bible or athiest views afforded you here in America to Malasia, even after our massive aid in the tsunami, and see when you get out of prison or how long you live.
