Just thought you'd be curious to find out that the Elks Lodge is a former train station. Two lines served Alturas but I think this was the old S.P. station.
Hope the iPhone gets well.
Actually, this was never a train station. It was the old S.P. headquarters for the line... the actual station is now a flower shop on N. East St.
