Excitement continues to build for Chico Air Show 2009 August 28-30, 2009 out at the airport. Latest developments...

The Army's 101st Airborne Division's Parachute Demonstration Team, the Screaming Eagles, will join the show, plus the return of the C-17 Globemaster. The Globemaster III is the newest, most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. The aircraft can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions and can also transport litters and ambulatory patients during aeromedical evacuations when required. The inherent flexibility and performance of the C-17 force improve the ability of the total airlift system to fulfill the worldwide air mobility requirements of the United States. For any of you who might have missed this last year... it's WELL worth coming out to see!

More to come. In the meantime, a BIG thanks to our event Title Sponsors, Northern California National Bank, Stott Outdoor Advertising and A Main Hobbies. For more info, check out our website at www.chicoairshow.org.
