Cindy Sheehan Book Signing
Cindy Sheehan sat motionless in her folding chair with pen-in-hand and a bewildered expression upon her face. Filtered sunlight seeped through the billowing white top of her [revival] size tent as she stared at the rows and rows of empty seats just a few feet away. Nary a sound could be heard save for a few press cameras’ clicking and the occasional chirping of a few Crawford County crickets. So marked the beginning of Sheehan's book signing tour and perhaps the end of her 15 minutes of fame.
Note: Sheehan became an outspoken antiwar critic following the death her 24-year-old son, a veteran Marine killed in Iraq. In a recent attack on Bush Sheehan proclaimed, "America is not worth dying for!" Earlier she said, Bush was the "World's biggest terrorist," that the Insurgents were freedom fighters and the Israeli's masterminded the Iraq war.
