e.. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the
rate our federal government spends it. Then you need to factor in State government and local governments."

Dear Hal:
You need to get some perspective. When we look at numbers here in Washington, we round off a billion dollars to zero, assuming it was just a minor accounting error.
