Sen. Lieberman - Good News from Iraq

I was sitting here reading an article about Sen. Joe Lieberman-D, Connecticut and I was stunned to actually hear a democrat say something positive about Iraq. You may remember him as running for president with Gore. Sen. Lieberman has visited Iraq 4 times in the past 17 months, returning from his latest visit yesterday (Nov. 28th).
He concluded that we're winning the war against the Saddamites and thugs directed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. In the [AP] story, he said there are "signs life is returning to normal, including a profusion of cell phones and satellite TV dishes on rooftops." And... "About two-thirds of the country is in really pretty good shape," he said, noting most attacks are in the so-called "Sunni Triangle" region. "Overall, I came back encouraged."
Lieberman said withdrawing from Iraq too early would jeopardize virtually everything we've accomplished and everything we've been fighting for. Lieberman was satisfied that our field commanders had learned from their early mistakes and were following a good strategy known as, "clear-hold-build."
Note: Protestors on the American homefront are calling this another Vietnam, but in truth the similarity between Iraq and Vietnam are only found in tactics of the protestors, then and now. They are once again doing everything within their power to undermine our efforts and insure a U.S. defeat, because it serves their narrow agenda to discredit Bush, stall democratic reforms and seize political power from the GOP.

People who compare Iraq with Vietnam are fully ignorant of the facts, and are speaking out of their anal orifices.
To list the differences would be pointless, they have no use for facts. I mean why confuse the issue with facts? They know the truth, they can't handle the truth! (Yes, yes, now that we have all "done" Jack, read on, lol.). As a matter of fact, they know many truths and they will never embrace any of them. For them to embrace the truth would mean they were wrong and we all know they are never wrong. Why do you think they are so angry and so unpopular? Some of them spent decades in school getting educated/indoctrinated only to find out they know nothing about the real world or the people in it. I almost pity them, until they open their yap and spew their baseless, fiction about whatever. At that point I lump them with all the others and ignore them.
I didn't use the "L" word at all but you just watch who will take offense to this post.
