Howard Dean Responds!

dean.jpg
HOWARD DEAN...appeared at a small rally of democratic supporters to denounce those who called him "a Benedict Arnold" The insult came after Dean said, "the idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong!" during an on air interview at San Antonio radio station, WOIA.

Dean quipped to his dozens of supporters...

"Oh, c'mon, do I look like a "Benedict Arnold" to you?"

Meanwhile, many well known Republicans have called on Dean to step down from his position of Leader of the DNC over his what critics term was an outrageous, almost treasonous comment done at the worst possible time to undermine our military moral.

Republicans should sit down and shut up. Howard Dean is one of the best weapons we have in our arsenal to halt liberalism. Dean is doing nothing but costing the Dems votes and money.

I hear you and you are not alone in that thinking Toby, however, let's step back for a moment see this comment for what it is. Howard Dean is a spokesperson for the entire Democratic Party and in many ways he represents a good portion of American opinion to the world.

His comments are too destuctive and can't go unanswered, not this time, not when so much is on the line. That guy has to go....and so should Nancy Pelosi. They're both hurting us in Iraq and getting people killed.

As much as I love it when someone like Dean sticks his foot in his mouth his comments are more destructive to America and our way of life then they are the Democrats in specifically.
When someone in a foreign country, or the ignorant in our country, hears comments like Deans and don't have a good insite into our political process they take those comments to be Gospel truth instead of the mud-slinging politicism that it is. This negatively sways opinons that shouldn't be swayed. It's destructive. Dean needs to go, and while he's taking Nancy Pelosi with him could he rent a van and take Jessee Jackson and the Kenedy's with him too?

I agree with you but I also disagree with you at the same time. I fully agree that the liberal left wing is dangerous to this Country and our troops. Our calling for them to step down and shut up will never make it happen. After two failed presidential elections, the DNC cannot afford the embarrassment of having to remove their head guy. Add to that the stand they have taken against the war and our troops, they cant dump Dean without making things worse for themselves. I think Dean will have a "Vince Foster", Dean should sleep with one eye open. LOL
