More on Wire Taps

From "Special Agent" who writes us, ....."The abuse is all on the other side and more to come. Already, attorneys for various in-custody and some already-convicted terrorists are demanding that information so they can challenge the evidence used against their clients -- not the direct evidence, since the wiretaps were not used in court and were never intended to be.

What they are claiming is the old "fruit of the poisoned tree" argument, that some information from the NSA interceptions put the law enforment people on to their clients as suspects. Then the cops built their case from there, collecting only "clean" evidence, with regular search warrants, wiretaps, and all the usual stuff. The worst thing is that these terrorist attorneys (pun intended) have no real expectation that the NSA taps did lead to cases against their clients, and they really don't care.

They only hope that by challenging the Justice Department, they can win their cases or their appeals when the government cannot divulge the secret information they demand." END

Jack's PS: We're engaged in a fight to the death with Islamic terrorists who have repeatedly vowed to kill us and have killed thousands of us. Given this fact and what is at stake for our future, why would anyone with a shred of a brain cell be demanding constitutional rights and access to our court system for terrorists? It's beyond beyond any stretch of sanity!

I think now that some time has passed, this whole on-going story about the CIA, NSA and other assets will blow up in the faces of the Left. The Left is stuck in the 60's and stuck in Vietnam, they think the rest of us are also. The Left has a deep hate for intelligence of any kind (insert joke here). They used that hate in the 60's and 70's to their advantage and moved their agenda forward. Those days are long dead now.
I believe the American people will if not already support how the war on terror is being won. We win every day there isn't another attack on our soil. That could be why the liberal media sides with the terrorists, to help them attack us. Let's face it, a good day for America is a bad day for the Left/terrorists.
