About Congressman Murtha

Ron A., writes:

"Congressman John Murtha on a talk show last night said that he would not serve in the military right now. Speaking for my son who just left for a tour as a gunner on a humvee performing combat patrol in West Baghdad. Mr. Congressman I don't care what you did in Viet Nam. I don't want you or your friends watching my back.

Brian, my son, is confident in his training, his comrades and the mission. His only concern is being shot in the back either here or abroad." END

Thank you Ron. Please pass along my thanks to your brave son; I wish him well and I wish Murtha would leave office, I've had about enough of that guy.

Murtha is just one more leak in the sinking DNC ship. The war in Iraq is an equal opportunity war. Our force isn't an all republican force, its made up of people from both parties and all colors and religions. The troops fighting the war have a far better handle on what's happening in Iraq than we do. If it were going as poorly as the liberal media would have us believe, we would all know it from our sons and daughters letters home. We would know it because returning vets would be telling us. The lib's would have them on the news 24/7/365.
While I wont fool myself into thinking the hard core liberal will ever back our troops or vote against the Dems. I do think a middle of the road democrat will take the word of their son or daughter over the media or some political hack. So let Murtha run his mouth. He is only killing the Left that much faster. They will either change their tune or shut up before the election, its our job to keep reminding people what they really stand for!
