Money and Elections...

It seems like if you're not independently rich or beholding to the special interest groups who fund most elections, you're likely not going to win.

Political idealism, creativity and integrity are rarely the keys to success when it comes to high office. But, I can't blame the voters, least not much. They are manipulated by rhetoric that slick spinmasters devise to control what they (voters) get to see and hear.

Unless a voter is truly interested (few are anymore) and they have the time to dig into the facts, read independant news sources and seek out the truth, then they have to make do with the pablum they're fed by the partisans and biased news sources.
