Movie Praises Suicide Bombers
"Paradise Now"... won a Golden Globe Award for best foreign film. The movie presents the warm and fuzzy side of two Palestinian suicide bombers. The New York Times reported, the film "risks offending viewers in the same way that humanizing Hitler does. Entertainment Weekly, praises the movie for, for “the dignity bestowed on a pair of Palestinian suicide bombers.
The innocent targets of these bombers (Israeli civilians) are portrayed in a way that leaves them dehumanized. Throughout the movie Israel is vilified as an evil occupation force of the Palestinian homeland that must be destroyed.
The Golden Globe award paves the way for an Academy Award. I'm sure Hollywood will give this propaganda film top honors. I'm just surprised it wasn't Michael Moore making it.

Culture war? What culture war? We have the freedom and ability to destroy ourselves. We seem to be hell bent on doing just that.
