If you had walked up to these idiot children and told them a statue of Mr. Gregory Boyington was going to be erected on campus, they wouldn't have cared. They wouldn't have cared because they didn't know anything about him.
When you tell these same idiot children your going to erect a statue of Maj. Gregory Boyington that's when you run into trouble. It isnt that they have any more knowledge, it's only that he was an American military hero. In the liberal world he already has three strikes against him. First he is American. Second he was military. Third he was a hero. Add to that the fact that he was white and it only gets worse. I say bulldoze the school and put up the statue. That statue would tell more truth and teach more history than that school ever will.
