This is exactly why there is this huge disconnect between the west and the mid-east!!!! The response that followed the "Bombhead" cartoon exposed the savage side of Islam and made the rioters look like crazed barbarians on dope. How could such violence not make Islam look bad? As a side note, I think these rioters must have way too much time on their hands, if so many can participate in days of protesting and rioting at the slightest nod of their local Immam. Makes you wonder..., uh, doesn't anyone work in the mid-east?

The mere "defaming the name of Islam" doesn't even come close to the damage done to this religion by it's extremist followers and this is the ugly truth Muslim Cleric's wish to avoid. But, they can't avoid it, not this time. Finally, the world's media has them in the spotlight and by the news stories coming out now, it's clear they don't like all this negative attention. Here's an idea: Islam must come to terms with this unacceptable behavior and take some action. The radicals are seen generally behaving like they are in still in the 7th century and it's tainting Muslims everywhere.

It's time for them (Muslim leaders) to start cleaning house and remove the radical voices of hate and violence. If they don't, they will eventually be forced to suffer the consequences of constantly starting fights they can't win. Here's a great place to start reforming: Shut down these rabid Wahabi schools that are turning out the suicide bombers!
