Student Leaders Against WWII Hero Boyington
From Jim who writes...
"My wife and I graduated from the UW in Physics and Geology. Our son
attends there, now. We are embarrassed by the actions and attitude of
the student leaders. I have met the man that shot Pappy down. He lived in Redmond until his passing, a few years ago.
The problem lies with those students. They live in such an isolated
intellectual bubble that they have lost any tactile feeling for the real world. They don't know that they don't know. I do. I've been on both sides of the bubble. In their great quest for knowledge, do they even attempt contact outside the bubble? No, they do not. They should ask themselves why it is that the ratio of liberals to conservatives tilts away from the rampant liberalism of student life after graduation. The answer is that with the addition of knowledge gained from outside the bubble, corrections are made. Too bad they can't assimilate all knowledge all the way through their education.
We need to honor all of our Medal of Honor recipients with a memorial
and with intellectual honesty.
