United 93
United 93.... it is a movie that every adult American that doesn't have a heart condition should see, I'm absolutely serious...
"September 11, 2001. Four planes were hijacked. Three of them reached their target. This is the story of the fourth.
Plot Outline: A real time account of the events on United Flight 93, one of the planes hijacked on 9/11 that crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania when passengers foiled the terrorist plot."
This was the premier opening and the theater was about 30% full, which was disappointing. But, then again this is not a movie for highly emotional people, you would never finish seeing it.
Everyone in the theater was rivited to the events that unfolded before them, some things that came up were relatively unknown facts that added a whole new dimension to what happened. I won't say what, you need to see it for yourself.
This was more than a drama movie, more than entertainment...this was brilliantly done, and a tribute to some incredibly brave Americans.
Go see this movie, you will not be disappointed.

Hi Jack, just in case you are going to blog about Bertagna's website in the ER tomorrow...see the response at www.stevebertagna.com first.
Pretyy hard to break the law when the Butte County Seal is offered as royalty free and for sale clipart by private companies.

Sold out in Chicago? Hey, that's great. I hope it is sold out everywhere. I want people to see exactly what happened. It's not just a pitty party movie, it allows you the viewer to see how some deaths might have been avoided if only a few things were done differently...its a learning experience and a patriotic movie at it's best. United 93 is playing at Cinemark in Chico...go see it!
Then come back and tell us what you thought!

Every time I see a TV show or a movie and its got the twin towers in it or a newer one without them in the background, I get so pissed off I want to scream. It is almost 5 years later and it still burns me up. If one of the goals of the movie is to remind us of what we lost on 9/11 and to re-kindle the raw emotion, I have not forgotten or has my emotion for that day faded one bit.
I know who our enemy is and I know who in this Country are friendly with them. My disgust and hate for them has not diminished with time one bit. I am sure I will at one point see the movie but not yet.
One thing more and feel free to disagree with me. If those cowards had 9/11 to do over again it wouldn't happen. They opened a can of kick-ass they never in a million years saw coming. It sickens me to think that some POS terrorists saw the US as weak and unwilling and unable to act if attacked. It sure isn't hard to see how they came to that conclusion is it? I fear that the up coming elections will lead to the old days of the US being unwilling to act in a meaningful way. Why do I get the feeling the Left will fear and bad mouth this movie?
