It calls for stopping President Bush's plan to send more troops into Iraq, and would cap troop levels at January figures; it aims to protect troops by ensuring they are properly trained and equipped; it would end what Mrs Clinton called the "blank check" for the Iraqi government; it would convene an international conference on Iraq; and it would start a phased redeployment out of Iraq in 90 days.
"We have to end this war in a smart way, not a Republican or a Democratic way, but a way that makes us safer and gets our troops home as soon as possible," Mrs Clinton said. "If (President) George Bush doesn't end this war before he leaves office, when I'm president, I will."
Wow! Are we impressed? Well, hardly. Leave it to an ambitious unscrupulous female to think she has the capacity to just end war...and by fiat no less. She calls this “smart”. Well, lets take a look:
Her plan is to make America “safe” by taking her ball and going home…maybe she’ll stick out her tongue for good measure.
Her “plan” is to sidestep the advice of the general in charge of operations and organize an international tea party to “discuss” Iraq. Whoa…discussions…now that’ll fix 'em! No terrorist on earth can stand up under the threat of talks. (The enemy, meanwhile will be the ones in the shadows laughing at the pure stupidity of it all.)
She plans to cut funds and cap troop levels thus tying the hands of our ally, the Iraqi government, while undermining the plans of General Patreus. It doesn't take a village to see the error in her thinking. But she’s not finished yet…the absurdity continues…
She will “protect the troops by ensuring they are properly trained and equipped”. I'm blown away...that arrogant…well I can’t really use the word of choice…lets just say the military is perfectly capable of training without her input or help. Also, if she really believes they need more equipment she can do something about that TODAY. She can do it without pretending to be Commander-in-Chief. She can do it with legislation…and more, not less, FUNDING! This plan of attack would actually fall under her current job description!!!
Now here’s the topper, folks, the big wrinkle that proves total incompetence. She will properly train and equip the troops...only to BRING THEM HOME IN 90 DAYS!
In a nut shell, the senators “plan” is nothing short of ridiculous. The enemy has vowed “death to America” and whether she likes it or not, it’s an important piece of the war puzzle. Psssst! Note to the “smartest woman in America”, the enemy won't care that you think it’s over. The war won't end until terrorists give up or we crush them. This is a tiny little nuance that you, along with your hippie dippy cohorts and fawning feminist followers, refuse to acknowledge. Talk about an inconvenient truth!

wait a second, Hillary Clinton coming up with a meaningless plan that would achieve nothing more than her shallow, personal, political objectives...say it isn't so.
This "plan" isn't worth the air it took to speak it into existence. It is pure pandering and nothing more. Can we please get an adult from the left to put Mrs. Clinton to bed, so the adults can talk.
