Terror Cop?
One of the men accused of plotting to attack soldiers at Fort Dix had recently applied to be a police officer in two big cities - a move some authorities believe may have been an effort to infiltrate law enforcement agencies.
Serdar Tatar, 23, applied for a job in Philadelphia last month, police spokesman Sgt. D.F. Pace said Wednesday.
"Based on what we know now, I don't think his intentions were good," Pace said. ...Philadelphia police rejected Tatar, a Turkish citizen and legal U.S. resident, because he was not a U.S. citizen and had not lived in the city long enough to be eligible, Pace said.
Tatar also applied for a job in the Oakland, Calif., Police Department, according to a law enforcement official speaking on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to release the information.
Tatar may have also wanted to join the Army, according to conversations recorded in March by an FBI informant during the investigation. A second suspect in the case told the informant that Tatar wanted to join the Army so he could kill soldiers from the "inside," according to a court filing.

It is heartening to see how little of this inflamatory horsepucky gets commented on. I encourage myself with the idea that people actually investigate your sources, and, well ...

"Inflamatory horse pucky" Google "Ray Perez" Libby. If you don't already know, he was responsible for the worse police corruption case in the LAPD in the past 60 years! What google probably won't tell you is that he was disqualified by Police Background investigators for Narcotics activity in his past. The civilian City personell department over ruled the Police Department because Perez met two Minority classifications Hispanic and Black. The only thing that surprises me about this story posted by Jack, is that the guy wasn't hired because of some liberal imposed hiring policy. And before you dismiss this as some rightwing White male rhetoric, I will tell you that Ray Perez was responsible for putting a 20 year old young Hispanic man in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, and then planting a weapon on him and lying in court which led to a conviction for attempted murder of a police officer and a sentenced to 25 years in prison. The media labled this the Rampart Scandal, but as someone who was actually there, I can tell you it was the Ray Perez scandal, and all of us who were there then had to put up with the "Inflamatory Horsepucky" of liberals who lump us all into the same pile. Oh and the google search may lead you to believe that Perez was rooted out by the LA times. HorsePucky! Perez was discovered by other cops. The lack of comments is more of a realization by the majority of us, that this is a real threat.

I was referring to the fact, not reported in your blurb, that this group of erstwhile terrorists had been infiltrated for over a year before they was arrested. We is on the job, yes we isI But you'd never know it to read all the inflammatory horsepucky posted on this site.

The only thing that surprises me about this story posted by Jack...
In the interest of clarity...Tina posted this story.
First Libby said: It is heartening to see how little of this inflamatory horsepucky gets commented on. I encourage myself with the idea that people actually investigate your sources, and, well ...
Then she said: I was referring to the fact, not reported in your blurb, that this group of erstwhile terrorists had been infiltrated for over a year before they was arrested.
This does not compute...does not make sense...these remarks are unrelated...
