The First Americans Helping The Last Americans?

by Jack Lee

I just read Dan B. article and the comments posted by Mike. He (Mike) is trying to get the State of Jefferson concpet launched. Mike noted that Native American Indians enjoy great freedom from oppression the rest of us must endure from our increasingly socialist government and that sparked his next comment...maybe seeking "reservation status" would be a more viable route to go than seeking Jeffersonian statehood? In order to form the State of Jefferson you need the permission of Oregon, California and the Federal Government, but to form an indian reservation you need only the Federal governments approval.

Let's take that thoght one more step. Imagine if some American Indian reservation somewhere opened their sovereign land to shelter the last real Americans from an oppressive socialist American government? What a thought...the Indians using their sovereignty to give safe haven to the last true Americans!

The first real Americans coming to the rescue of the last real Americans, that would be the ultimate irony. Just a thought...but, who knows, if we keep going down the path of socialism this could become a reality.
