Excuse me but like I said on another thread. The Muslim community is not helping us weed out the extremists who hate this country and want to kill us infidels.

When I look on the news and see Muslims in their communities across America rail against the war on terrorism, I have to come to the conclusion they do not like this country.

Now as for the Irish who immigrated here in the early 1900s, I realize they were confronted with those who were afraid of Catholics. However the Irish joined the Police departments and the Fire departments and became pillars of their society to prove their love for America. They were even involved in helping the government shut down illegal alcohol smuggling from Ireland, and also shutting down illegal brewery's during Prohibition.

I don't see the Muslims joining the police departments to help with these extreme Muslims who want to destroy the very fabric of this country. And I don't see stories on the news about American Muslims helping to shut down these Jihad training camps across America. Instead of assimilating into the American society, they want to turn America into the oppressive type of country they came from.

What is it about you liberals that you refuse to see the pimple on your own nose? Those who immigrate to America, but refuse to become Americans will eventually destroy what America is?

Actually I can answer my own question, because you hate this country also. Otherwise you would not support all the Marxist and immoral behavior that is at the root of our troubles in this country.

I have no doubt that there are Muslims living in America who embrace freedom and are willing to live by American laws. We can know them by their behaviors and words. But we are living in difficult times with attending circumstances.

Part of the burden Muslims bare is the fact that other Muslims do atrocious things in the name of Islam. It is not the fault of Americans that freedom loving Muslims must bare this burden and endure the suspicions that are visited upon them. It is the fault of those who engage in vioilent jihad against Israel and the West.

If we cannot accurately name those responsible, we cannot distinguish between those who stand with us and those who do not. The PC way is to deny there are jihadists. They prefer to lump all into one benevolent group and pretend that kindness, understanding, apologies and the hand of friendship will calm the waters and bring those few "crriminal" jihadists around. This stance does a great diservice to Muslims who disclaim the violent form of Islam and sincerely wish to live in peace and freedom.

One of the greatest burdens for our leaders is accurately making the distinction between those who are truly with us and those who only pretend to gain advantage. This is the work of many who do counterterrorism work. Perhaps this is what Libby was suggesting on the other thread. But if it is, she should know that the people Jack cited on his other posts are exactly those doing this important work. She may prefer to take the casual approach and not hear about such things. Fine. We're big enough to let her tend her vegetable garden in peace. But please Libby...there is no need to talk down to those of us who prefer to stay informed about such matters. From our perspective there is much to be concerned about...including so called fellow Americans who are determined to blindly assist jihadists who intend to settle in this country in order to do us harm.

I find it interesting you ever had respect for me in the first place. I must have missed the comment where you said,

Then your loss of respect for me would make sense. But hey it's like your comment that decent Muslims in America are helping us in the war on terrorism. Just another made up lie. There is a proverb that speaks of how I should handle fools like you,
