Islamic Paramilitary Training Camps Growing in USA - Part 1

by Jack Lee

This is probably one of the most shocking stories ever reported on Post Scripts. And its also why I have provided numerous links to other articles and sites so we get the story straight, just as it has been reported. I make no independant claims, nor do I have any information other than what is contained in this story. It is submitted for your consideration:

Over 3000 Islamic terrorists are allegedly training within the USA says the Christian Action Netword. According to them and other reporters, there is almost nothing we can do to stop it either. The US Constitution and State Constitutions are being used to prevent law enforcement from shutting down these paramilitary Jihadists training camps says CAN. They currently are spreading across this country and Canada and have long existed within Pakistan. The training bases in the USA number at least 35, and have over 3000 members according to reports. Two of the training camps are supposed to be within a few hours of Sacramento, CA.

The camps are owned by a group known as "Muslims of America", also known as "Jama’at ul Fuqra in Pakistan. (1). The camps range from 25 to 300 acres and they are believed to be currently used as a place to stock pile weapons, train Islamic soldiers in terrorist tactics, presumably to some day wage war on the USA, however they bill themselves as peaceful places for religious activities and so far no government agency has been able to prove otherwise.

map1.jpg

As shocking and unbelievable as this sounds, this is the claim by the Christian Action Network and they have a video tape that purports to show the kind of training that is taking place within these compounds. The video is titled, "The Soldiers of Allah" and features Sheik Ali bin Galani, the man believed to be responsible for setting up Wall Street Journal reporter, Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and later beheaded in Pakistan. The training video shows how to murder guards, hijack vehicles, scaling mountains, kidnapping, explosives and methods and tactics of guerilla warfare.

Martin Mawyer of C.A.N. visited 7 known training bases and he showed the Galani video to the camp leaders and asked them to deny or refute what was being shown. He said, none of them did, in fact Mawyer said one leader in Jessup, Georgia said, "What's wrong with Sheik Ali bin Galani setting up paramilitary training camps within the United States?" Mawyer explains that the members believe Sheik Galani is a descendant of the Prophet Mohammed and his word or motives is never questioned.

From the website, Right Truth, counterterrorism, politics, religion, “Today, Jama’at ul-Fuqra has more than 35 suspected communes and more than 3,000 members spread across the United States, all in support of one goal: the purification of Islam through violence." [snip]

Sheik Gilani's "soldiers have been actively engaging in domestic terrorism" since 1979 and reportedly continue to this day.

Feb. 23, 2009, Connect the Dots:

"Muslim American Society (MAS) and Jama’at ul Fuqra, connect the dot, Esam Omeish, the President of the Muslim American Society (MAS), is running for a vacant seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. The Muslim American Society is closely connected the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian group that gave rise to Hamas, and was established in 1993 by leaders of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. We are told that Muslims of America is the front group for Jama’at ul Fuqra. Jama’at ul Fuqra, according to a 2006 Department of Justice report, has 35 terror training camps inside the United States."

Now this story....

"WALL STREET JOURNAL reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped when he went looking for the leader of a group called Jamaat al-Fuqra in the terrorist bazaar of Pakistan. At the time he disappeared, Pearl was tracking reports that Fuqra had hosted would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid at its walled compound in Lahore. In the end, it was agents of another group that spirited Pearl off to his death, but Fuqra remains a subject of interest, and not only because of its activities in Pakistan. For Fuqra has had a disturbing U.S. presence for more than 20 years. Today, half a dozen Fuqra residential compounds in rural hamlets across the country shelter hundreds of members, some of whom, according to intelligence sources, have been trained in the use of weapons and explosives in Pakistan.

Fuqra's founder and chief, the man Pearl sought to interview, is a rotund Kashmiri of Sufi background with long-standing ties to Pakistan's Interservice Intelligence Agency (ISI), Sheikh Mubarik Ali Hasmi Shah Gilani. At least until President Musharraf's decision last fall to support the American war on terrorism, the ISI sponsored terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Pakistani-controlled Kashmir. Sheikh Gilani has rubbed shoulders at international terrorist confabs with gunslingers from Hamas and Hezbollah, their mullah backers, and Osama bin Laden. And he has trained fighters for the battlefields of Kashmir, Chechnya, and Bosnia. "

For more on this story click here.

From the website: Terror Acts In America We’d all like to believe that here, in the land tolerance and freedom, Jamaat ul-Fuqra is just another group of devout believers who want to live in peace with their neighbors. But the evidence argues against that interpretation.

(1) From Vdic and online dictionary and translation service: Meaning of "Jama’at ul Fuqra" An Islamic terrorist group organized in the 1980s; seeks to purify Islam through violence; the cells in North America and the Caribbean insulate themselves from Western culture and will even attack other Muslims who they regard as heretics.

Jack:

The fact that the US and state constitutions allow this perversity does not mean there is nothing we can do about it.

When will Americans wake up and smell the evil that this religion fuels. It is a religion that was started by a nut who started to war against other Arabs. He adopted the Moon god as his god, thus the crescent moon on their flags and paraphernalia. There is nothing in this religion that even comes close to what Judaism and Christianity teach.

For those who think the followers of Islam follow the same God as the Jews or Christians, you are wrong. Just because they claim it does not make it so. And for those who think that the extreme Muslims are not what Islam is all about, think again.

Read the writings of Mohammad, it is these extremist who are actually doing what the Koran calls them to do. This is a religion born straight out of HELL! Many will not like me saying it but it is true.

To the Muslim follower, death is victorious because he believes he will be united with 72 virgins in some "Paradise" after he blows himself up in his misguided attempt to please his god—Allah. Islam is a suicide/death cult and Mohammad taught that death is good and glorious.

Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs in return is the garden of Paradise: they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him us truth… (Koran, Sura 9:111)

The Koran is filled with Mohammad's views, which he claimed came from Allah. But Allah is not the God of the Bible. Most people know what Christ told Nicodemus that night he visited Him, and it is in stark contrast to what Islam teaches.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17 NKJV)

We need to repeat the truth about this religion to every person who does not know. Until Americans wake up and understand what is at stake, they will be in danger of the evil that is perpetrated from this religion.

Ever wonder why you don't see good Muslims protesting in the street against these so called extremists? It is because they agree with them that every one who is not a Muslim is an infidel and deserves to die if they do not convert. Remember it is the so-called moderate Muslims who are allowing the extremists to hide in their midst.

Wake up America and smell the Evil that is permeating amongst us.

"I, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and.... domestic;"

There are more than a few who would respond to this old oath if it was absolutely necessary. And it would be a grave mistake for our enemies to under estimate what that oath means just as it would be to over estimate their personal security in a post 9-11 America.

Posted by: Anonymous at March 23, 2009 10:00 PM

OneVike...not only do I like what you had to say, but I believe it because it's right on.

Posted by: Jack at March 23, 2009 10:27 PM

Jack;

Thanks, my heart can only speak of what God has led me to say. Those who are afraid to speak the truth will inevitably find themselves at the will of the ungodly. This country was built upon the lives of God fearing men and women who loved the concept of free will and the exercise of it.

What we are experiencing in America is what God warned all those who stray from His precepts. Look throughout history, every nation that ever turned its back on God eventually fell. Even His chosen, the Israelites fell when they turned their back on Him.

When it comes to the religion of Islam, I am reminded what general Patton had to say about it after reading the Koran for himself. This is what he had to say;

"I Just finished reading the Koran—a good book and interesting. However it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab world."

Patton was right because 65 years later they have not changed. They still have a desire for the world to live in the dark ages. Remember it was the Muslim leader of the army who defeated the Byzantine army at the Battle of Heliopolis, who went on to Alexandria and destroyed the greatest ancient library the world has ever known. This at the command of the leading Islam teacher of the day.

The pc media wants you to think the Muslims were smarter and more advanced then the Christians of the Crusade days. However, the truth is the Muslims were not the enlightened intellectuals we are led to believe. They lived in the dark ages then and they still live in the dark ages. They totally disregard modern technology unless it helps them defeat their enemy, US!

Now see what you've gone and done. Sigh. If you could have found just one source for these "reports" that didn't have a paranoid axe of it's own to grind, I would not be so very dismayed at you rousing the rabble to no good purpose.

I suppose it's just more of my positively progressive worldview, but while there may very well be stuff like this going on, I have great faith that any such organizations have been infiltrated. As a matter of prudent intelligence gathering and national defense, it makes much more sense to quietly watch and learn ... than to loudly rail like a passle of right-wing-nuts in public.

Get a grip.

Posted by: Libby at March 24, 2009 11:50 AM

Libby so you say that the multiple sources that include the DOJ are completely wrong?

OK, I'll entertain that possibility. Maybe you are right!

Now please give me some factual reason why I should discount this allegation?

That's only fair if you want to dismiss these reports, give some reason why?

Pulleeeese, for once give me a real reason, don't say well they are all rightwing nut-jobs, thats not good enough, I need a reason.

I'll stand right here and wait for your reply, as to why I should dismiss a half dozen or so sources that are all reporting paramilitary training at Islamic compounds in the USA; compounds by the way that are not open to the public; compounds that are under watch by the FBI and Justice Dept.; compounds that have a credible connections to a known terrorist associate and sympathyzer and a person who is also a person of interest in the Danny Pearl murder case, who is in a country known for it's exportation of terrorism and Islamic extremism.

(standing here...tapping my foot...waiting) (15 minutes has gone by still waiting) (an hour has gone by, still waiting...still tapping...Libby?)

Posted by: Jack at March 24, 2009 12:54 PM

Is that how you reacted when the Clinton administration was running around accusing talk radio for stirring up anger that caused Timothy McVeigh to blow up the federal building in Oklahoma?

As I recall the liberals were all over the place attacking anyone who even thought about getting together and talking about hate of the government.

Better watch yourself Libby, because every time you attempt to shluff off a story about Islamic radicalism you leave yourself open for scrutiny. You know you agreed with the Clinton's when they and the media went off on a wild goose chase looking for any trouble they could find with those hated right wing militias.

Here is an article from 2006: "...My friends, this should not be any surprise, because this trend has been going on in our countries for years. Unfortunately, in a pre-9/11 world, we viewed a great deal of terrorist activity as petty crime. We did not connect dots. Even high profile cases were treated as isolated occurrances. Add to all this the politicization of the War on Terror and we have found ourselves not getting the type of news we should. Oh, and political correctness has played its part as well.

The truth of the matter is that a terrorist infrastructure has existed within our borders for over 25 years. As has correctly been noted in the news, the Islamofascist threat does not stem from one group, but from many groups who share common inspiration, common goals, and common connections.

One such group was founded on the streets of Brooklyn, NY by a radical and militant Sufi mystic from Pakistan known as Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Gilani. He is the founder of the terrorist group al-Fuqra. Believed to be made up of several hundred operators, they have been described as "extremely covert", "one of the most elusive terrorist groups operating within the United States", and have been known to conduct "brazen surveillance".

In the United States, the organization has a large support base estimated at around 5,000 followers called the Muslims of the Americas, which serves as a front. The common explanation for Gilani's presence in the US in the early 80's was that he was recruiting mujahideen to fight against the Soviets in Afghanistan. However, the ideology of the sheikh and his American followers called for purification of Islam through violence. That meant that Hindus, Hare Krishnas, and even other sects of Islam were also targets of jihad." Source: http://politicsofcp.blogspot.com/2006/06/jamaat-ul-fuqra-homegrown-islamic.html

While I continue to while away the hours waiting for reasoned response from Libby, here is a very well done research paper that adds more information to the allegations of terrorists in America" "Jamaat al-Fuqra is an extremist Islamic organization largely composed of African-Americans recruited from United States prisons. Al-Fuqra formed in 1980 when an ammunition-belted Sheikh Mubarak ali Gilani preached at a Brooklyn, New York mosque. Gilani is part of a holy Muslim family that traces their lineage to Muhammed.

Gilani, who became revered by a loose-knit Islamic community in Brooklyn, recruited from the existing ranks of domestic organization Dar ul Islam by advocating for a holy
war against the Soviet oppressors in Afghanistan. The recruits, who signed documentation transferring the majority of their income to help foreign Islamic
organizations, quickly set to work waging terrorist assaults against Jewish, Hindu, and even moderate Muslim clerics and temples in the United States. Exceptional members fought against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan and received extensive terrorist and guerilla training while overseas.

Gilani preaches a Wahabbist, anti-Western worldview that ordains violence as the only means of purifying Islam. Members of Jamaat al-Fuqra are Allah’s soldiers in a battle
against the cultural and religious taint of the Western world; and al-Fuqra documents and speeches are inundated with references to Zionist conspiracies and a call to arms. Al-Fuqra and Sheikh Gilani have been linked to al-Qaeda and other international terrorist
organizations.

Composed of American and Canadian citizens, Jamaat al-Fuqra has established a wide ranging network throughout North America centered around four primary compounds in
York, South Carolina; Red House, Virginia; Hancock, New York; and Baladullah, California. Individual compounds have earned a place on local law enforcement radar
following arrests for illegal weapons possession, arms smuggling, and high-profile fraud investigations." Here is the source of this article:

Libby (and others) let me give you just a few examples of the kind of people reporting on the Islamic extremists at the paramilitary training camps in the USA. Libby, you called them rightwing nut jobs.

Here they are, and remember, according to Libby these are nut jobs and you should not believe a word they say because they are just paranoid people absent any credibility....you tell me if they have any credibility:

1. Tim Connors, Director, Center for Policing Terrorism

Tim Connors is a graduate of West Point whose 19 years of service in the United States Army included command and staff assignments as an Infantry officer. Tim is a graduate of both the Army’s Ranger and Airborne Schools, and is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. More from the people Libby calls nut jobs, which includes an article from the nut job rightwing extremist newspaper, the Sacramento Bee:

Why is there an Islamic Village in the foothills near Fresno? There's an airstrip and neighbors complain of gunfire. Kevin Quinn takes you inside Baladullah, California.

Sorry, no transcript as of now. Video only. Worth the effort to view.

The video provides a look at this compound in the foothills above Fresno, CA. Pre 9-11, a Fresno County Sheriffs deputy was killed by a member of this peaceful Islamic community. The suspect (in the beginning trial phase still) broke into a empty nearby foothill home, when deputies arrived this guy was lying in the hallway floor with a rifle, and killed one deputy. This video is the first investigative reporting we have had on this Islamic community. The trail leads to FUQRA, a known terrorist group operating all over the world, and have several communities such as this one all over the USA.

Here is an excerpt from an article of the Sacramento Bee...

California links of terrorists probed:
Federal and state investigators try to unearth 'sleeper' agents.

By Sam Stanton and Andy Furillo

Bee Staff Writers
(Published Sept. 30, 2001)

The compound Beyond seeking out ties to bin Laden-linked terrorist networks, officials are keeping tabs on another Islamic group near Fresno because of the recent killing of a sheriff's deputy in an area home, apparently stemming from a botched burglary.(this was no burglary according to all accounts)

There is no evidence that the Fresno group has been involved in any terrorist activities, officials say.

The group, according to a federal source, is part of Fuqra, an organization whose name means "poverty" in Arabic and which has had compounds in several U.S. areas.

Some Fuqra members in other areas have been implicated in past years in domestic terrorist attacks, and the State Department has labeled the group, known formally as Jamaat ul-Fuqra, as "an Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence."

The group south of Fresno operates an 1,800-acre compound called the International Quranic Open University, which sits on the former site of the drug addiction recovery cult Synanon.

The compound, a series of mobile homes shaded by trees, also serves as a U-Haul rentals location. A resident there last week refused to talk to a reporter, referring inquiries to a Visalia attorney who did not respond to a message seeking information.

Authorities have been studying the compound since the Aug. 21 slaying of Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy Erik Telen. Officials charged 20-year-old Ramadan Abdur-Rauf Abdullah with murder in the killing, apparently stemming from a botched burglary at a rural home.

James Oppliger, Fresno County's chief deputy district attorney, said the suspect claimed he had been living at the compound seeking psychiatric treatment from the Quranic university.

Oppliger said he since has begun studying the group and its possible connections to other organizations.

(Zavia Books) is the bookstore for this Islamic compound. It is called Koranic Open University. Note the books being sold. One of them is prefaced by ( Sheik Mubarik Ali Shah Jilani [Gilani]) a known terrorist. The trail leads from Baladullah (actually Miramonte, CA) to Pakistan, where Sheik Gilani lives. He is the head of Fuqra.

Article, "Springtime in Islamberg"

Radical Muslim paramilitary compound flourishes in upper New York state

By Paul L. Williams Ph.D., (author of THE DAY OF ISLAM)

With the able assistance of Douglas Hagmann, Bill Krayer and Michael Travis

(Friday, May 11, 2007)

Dr. Paul Williams at the entrance of Islamberg...

Situated within a dense forest at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains on the outskirts of Hancock, New York, Islamberg is not an ideal place for a summer vacation unless, of course, you are an exponent of the Jihad or a fan of Osama bin Laden.

The 70 acre complex is surrounded with "No trespassing" signs; the rocky terrain is infested with rattlesnakes; and the woods are home to black bears, coyotes, wolves, and a few bobcats.

Muslim Lane

The entrance to the community is at the bottom of a very steep hill that is difficult to navigate even on a bright sunny day in May. The road, dubbed Muslim Lane, is unpaved and marred by deep crevices that have been created by torrential downpours. On a wintry day, few, save those with all terrain vehicles, could venture forth from the remote encampment.

A sentry post has been established at the base of the hill.

The sentry, at the time of this visit, is an African American dressed in Islamic garb - - a skull cap, a prayer shawl, and a loose fitting shalwat kameez. He instructs us to turn around and leave. "Our community is not open to visitors," he says.

Behind the sentry and across a small stream stand dozens of inhabitants of the compound - - the men wearing skull caps and loose fitting tunics, the women in full burqa. They appear ready to deal with any unauthorized intruders.

The hillside is blighted by rusty trailers that appear to be without power or running water and a number of outhouses. The scent of raw sewage is in
the air.

The place is even off limits to the local undertaker who says that he has delivered bodies to the complex but has never been granted entrance. "They come and take the bodies from my hearse. They won't allow me to get past the sentry post. They say that they want to prepare the bodies for burial. But I never get the bodies back. I don't know what's going on there but I don't think it's legal."

On the other side of the hill where few dare to go is a tiny village replete with a make-shift learning center (dubbed the "International Quranic Open University"); a trailer converted into a Laundromat; a small, green community center; a small and rather squalid grocery store; a newly constructed majid; over forty clapboard homes; and scores of additional trailers.

It is home to hundreds - - all in Islamic attire, and all African-Americans.

Most drive late model SUVs with license plates from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The locals say that some work as tollbooth operators for the New York State Thruway, while others are employed at a credit card processing center that maintains confidential financial records.

While buzzing with activity during the week, the place becomes a virtual hive on weekends. The guest includes arrivals from the inner cities of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and, occasionally, white-robed dignitaries in Ray-Bans from the Middle East.

Venturing into the complex last summer, Douglas Hagmann, an intrepid investigator and director of the Northeast Intelligence Service, came upon a military training area at the eastern perimeter of the property. The area was equipped with ropes hanging from tall trees, wooden fences for scaling, a make-shift obstacle course, and a firing range. Hagmann said that the range appeared to have been in regular use.

Islamberg is not as benign as a Buddhist monastery or a Carmelite convent. Nearly every weekend, neighbors hear sounds of gunfire. Some, including a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, have heard the bang of small explosives.

None of the neighbors wished to be identified for fear of "retaliation." "We don't even dare to slow down when we drive by," one resident said. "They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it but move, and we can't even do that. Who wants to buy a property near that?"

Posted by: Jack Lee at March 24, 2009 05:40 PM

Libby, do you have anything to say about any of these reports? Is the information begining to sink in perhaps? I no longer expect you to be able to offer a response because there isn't any, least not credible. Libby this is real...and I believe this is a direct threat to the security of the United States and it should be crushed and dispersed.

I think I am going to submit my info. to the FBI and see what they have to say about it? I can't believe they are not working a case against them? I won't get an answer of course, FBI takes info., they never give info.

I should also send a copy over to Congressman Wally Herger and ask that he use his influence to make sure we open a federal investigation on these potential terrorists, maybe serve some search warrants, get the RICO act involved.

There seems to be ample evidence of a widespread criminal conspiracy at work here. That's what RICO was for, we don't have to wait until they attack us, conspiracy laws only need overt acts of plan and design to commit a criminal act.

I think I will send this information to Assemblyman Dan Logue too, he ran his campaign using the speaker of the Minutemen as an endorser, you would think he might be interested?

Posted by: Jack at March 24, 2009 05:47 PM

Wow, Jack you have definitely done your homework on this. I tip my hat to you and for one second your motion to get this stuff to Herger, Logue, and the FBI.

Maybe after the dust settles from all this socialist restructuring and we throw the idiots out, we can replace them with men who care more about stopping the enemies of the country instead of taking away rights from citizens.

"Usha Sutliff is Deputy Director of the Manhattan Institute's Center for Policing Terrorism (CPT)."

If he were a member of the NYPD's Intelligence Unit ... but they've got more sense than to be flailing in public.

"Freerepublic.com"? I'm sorry, but we're talking the quintessense of right-wing-nut-dom here.

And all these other centers for the policing of terrorism ... they're all privately funded (and by whom would be interesting to know), paranoid, and meddling in the work of organizations I trust a whole lot more ... to get it right.

I frankly believe that their chief purpose is to manipulate you. You shouldn't let 'em.

Posted by: Libby at March 25, 2009 10:29 AM

Excuse me? A Freerepublic is the quintessense of right-wing-nut-dom?

And I guess you think that the Democratunderground is just a Librarians lunchroom. I could post anything I find from FreeRepublic here without worrying that Jack or Tina will have to edit it.

However if you posted something from the democrat underground or any of a dozen democrat blogs you would put Jack and Tina in jeopardy of being arrested for indecency.

I will not however get into a spat with an out of touch, left wing socialist, who probably thinks Stalin would be good babysitter for her grandchildren! Not over some stupid remark you made because you have no substance to your thought process.

Libby? You want to see nut jobs, just read the San Francisco Chronicle, New York Times, Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, or any of the dozens of Main Steam Media publications. There is your nut jobs.

An another thing you stated,

And all these other centers for the policing of terrorism ... they're all privately funded (and by whom would be interesting to know), paranoid, and meddling in the work of organizations I trust a whole lot more ... to get it right.

Hey lady? The only paranoid people around are the ones who are trying to shut down any apposing opinions like Obama is trying to do because he knows that when the American people find out what he is trying to do they will throw him and his Marxist buddies out of Office!

Posted by: OneVike at March 25, 2009 02:35 PM

This comment by Libby intrigued me:

"...and meddling in the work of organizations I trust a whole lot more ... to get it right."

Would you care to name them Libby?

I'm a little late to this conversation but I do know that the people who do counterterrorism work write papers and give talks to those that you reference.

Let's see...I believe it was called "connecting the dots" in a prior time when the smoke and dust was still settling in Manhatten and progressives were still in shock. Now they have returned to the safety and comfort of the Kumbaya village. "We are the wooooorld, we are the children...better hope the dots keep getting connected.
