The Plan to Find and Seize Nuclear Cargo

President Obama has ordered US warships to approach North Korean freighters on the high seas. He wants to ask permission via radio to come aboard to inspect their cargo for possible violations of the UN's nuclear proliferation treaty. If they say yes, we can board and if said cargo is found, we can impound the cargo and the world will be a safer place. Of course the erring captain will pay with his life for allowing this, so there's a pretty good chance he will say no.

In the event that the NK captain says no, our warships have been ordered to sail away and leave them be. North Korea agents can thumb their nose at the powerful American Navy as it slinks away over the horizon. It will be an embarrassing and humiliating experience for our Navy, but one that Commander-In-Chief Obama feels is necessary to enact .... Plan B!

Now comes the rest of this clever plan!

Having been denied permission to board, our Navy then requests that we track the suspected ship by satellite and when it arrives in the next port for fuel, the plan is to ask the host nation not to sell them fuel until we have permission to come aboard for a "voluntary" inspection. There it is, a gotcha! And you thought our president didn't understand military tactics! Ha....

Oh, there's one small problem and I hate to be the one to bring it up, but most freighters can travel about 6000-7000 miles without refueling and some can go much further. A North Korean ship can easily sail to Iran and then what will we do? Are we going to ask the Iranian's to not sell fuel to the NK ship containing their secret nuclear components that they just delivered? That ought to work...not!

Iran and North Korea are both making a mockery out of the Obama Administration. One wonders what's next?

Obama is destroying our national reputation. Rogue dictators actually used to fear and respect us, no they are laughing at the weakness of our so-called leader.

What Obama doesn't realize is that all of the disenfranchised voters in Iran, all of those who are standing up and protesting the extreme tyranny they live under, they will never forgive or forget how Obama, and many americans, turned their backs on them in their darkest hour. Watching Obama now is almost as embarrassing as the days when Al Gore shook hands with the butcher of Tiannanmen Square. George W. Bush made mistakes, but at least he stood for something.
Good post Jack.

"Are we going to ask the Iranian's to not sell fuel to the NK ship containing their secret nuclear components that they just delivered? That ought to work...not!"

I may easily be mistaken, but I doubt that Amedinijad, a radical Muslim, would want to aid Kim Jong Il, a self-proclaimed god. But history has seen stranger bedfellows.

As far as I know, the Iranians don't want our help. In fact, this article and the comments to it show evidence that most Iranians don't want any kind of interference from the U.S., and that Obama speaking out on this issue would not be at all helpful:

I don't agree with Jeff's conclusion that conservatives know the Iranians would be better off without us and are just trying to manufacture hate for Obama, but other than that he makes good points, and the comments add a lot more, including evidence that Amedinijad's rival might not be any better than he is.

Thank you Steve, I pray that somehow, through all the setbacks and screw ups this nation has endured, that we will survive long enough to we get a decent, capable man or woman to lead this nation back to prosperity and power. What we've got now in the White House is a joke and fraud. Obama's minor successes in life were more a result of affirmative action and white guilt than actual accomplishments on his own.

"Obama's minor successes in life were more a result of affirmative action and white guilt than actual accomplishments on his own."

And you're basing this on...what? The mere fact that he's black? Yeah, that clearly means it must have been impossible for him to succeed through merit...From what I've heard, Obama actually didn't reveal his ethnicity on his college application in order to avoid getting in because of AA, but that may not be true. You're going to have to provide some evidence of your claim, otherwise you are just going to look like a racist.

Oh that accusation came way too easy...so, I am a racist because I question Obama's credentials...and all those people that I have seen on TV or heard on radio that were interviewed about the reasons why they voted for Obama could not answer what he had done for America. Not anyone I have heard being asked that question could answer it intelligently and accurately why he deserved being President, but all these twits agreed it would be a really good thing to have a black person as President.

What do you call that? I call it liberal affirmative action. When was the last time a community organizer became a Senator that spent 6 months in office before becoming president? Forget race, just answer that one. Obama has the least credentials of anyone I know that has ever been elected to such a high office.

Thanks for playing the race card too, I previously thought better of you than that, but I guess I was wrong.

"Oh that accusation came way too easy..."

Just as quickly as the affirmative action accusation came. Only my claim had actual evidence.

"Thanks for playing the race card too, I previously thought better of you than that, but I guess I was wrong. "

LOL! Oh, the hypocrisy. You brought up the race issue, not me.
