Jack,
I wanted to thank you for posting this. The school was successful and a lot of new candidates showed up, nearly all of them for local level races. We had candidates from several surrounding counties running for offices like sheriff, city council, supervisor, assessor, etc. Most of them didn't know each other and the majority had no previous political experience. Their one common denominator was a belief that something has gone wrong in this country and it's time for good conservatives to start getting involved. It's been a long time since I've seen this level of enthusiasm among conservatives. It was heartwarming.
We even had three conservatives interested in the Chico City Council race. It's going to be a good year.

Thank you for sharing that bit of news with us Steve! I'm sure glad to hear it and that the school went over so well. This is grass roots politics at its finest and the the kind of thing we really need more of at the local level. The depth of experience you folks brought to the table for our potential candidates is invaluable. Any time you need such an event published please just let us know.

And I agree with you, I'm also seeing signs of life in the GOP and we've got a field of good candidates coming up, so there is good reason to think it will be very good year for Republicans and that it will be the start of new and better things for the state and country. We sure need it!
