Funny you should mention this one. While I was down at Sacramento at the National Guard Headquarters we ran out of visitor badges. The MP turned to me and said, sorry Sarge we're all out of badges to which I replied, "Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges" in my best Mexican accent. (it was still worth a chuckle)

Yes, Jack. As a fellow former cop, I am not surprised that you remember the line, but you remember it in the often misquoted form. The quotation I used is the exact one. I know, because that is my favorite movie, and I just watched it again last night. In fact, it is the best movie Bogart ever made and might be the best movie anyone ever made. It's worth 10 Casablancas, which also contains an often misquoted famous line. (He said, "Play it again," not "Play it again, Sam," although the piano player was named Sam.)
