Happy Days Are Here Again! Aren't they?

by Jack Lee

The Feds could be dropping the prime by one full point today and the stock market is rallying and up 265 points early in the day. Happy days are here again!

The way the prime rate is falling, I calculate in 55 days they will be paying you to take out a loan!

.

The besieged dollar is really going to tank overseas when the feds drop the prime rate this time. However, we all should know by now this is good for exporting, our goods are cheaper. But, there is a point at where there are diminishing returns on all things and this next drop in our dollar could be it.

When the ol dollar finally falls to a critical point there will be a run on greenbacks by nations wishing to swap them for something else. Then, when hope is all but lost for its recovery there will be only one option to save the day and American's will jump at the opportunity presented by our glorious and beloved leader! Enter the Amero, our answer to the Euro. The great union of Canada, USA and Mexico for trade and currency will be born, thus completing the objective that was begun years earlier. Nonsense? Impossible? Maybe. But, the more deliberate acts I see by our federal government that I believe will crush our economy... the more paranoid my thinking.

On the broader scale of things, we see Asian markets in distress, European markets are weakening and they are our trading partners. New Home starts in the US are significantly down again, the consumer price index is rising ominously (check your grocery bill, it's way up) and our oil monopoly is having their way with us. Then we see a rock solid 85 year old company like Bear Stearns, allegedly led by one of the most brilliant bankers on Wall Street that goes almost belly up in 48 hours. BSC has been steered upon the financail rocks with a big load of sub-prime mortgages bundled and fraudulently marketed as AAA securities , while the feds entrusted with preventing such fraud were apparently turning a blind eye? This is one of the greatest robberies of all time and hardly an FBI eyebrow is being raised? What's up with that?

How could a humble putz like me way out here in little Chico see this day coming almost 2 years ago and yet the most educated and informed federal watchdogs in history could not see it coming? My only conclusion is, deliberate ignorance, perhaps fostered by some self-serving immediate gain and/or coercion by key managers to advance their hidden agenda, such as the tri-lateral trade union...I can only guess, but it's not a totally implausible theory is it?

If you think that $600 per tax filer is going to reverse all this I've got some Amero's to sell you.

When people call you crazy--and they will--tell them you're just crazy enough.
And please remember, it's only paranoia if you're deluded. You're not deluded.
