A free, open to the public town hall to discuss spitting CA into two states will take place this Friday, at Chico’s premier event center, 1705 Manzanita Place – it’s attached to the Elks Club. The event will start seating at 6 pm and it will begin at 7 pm until 9 pm. A host of excellent guest speakers is in the linup, plus a panel for Q & A, following our speakers.
It is expect that over 500 persons will attend, so it’s advisable to arrive a little early to get the best seats. Butte County Supervisors, State and Federal elected officials have been invited. Former Assemblyman Stan Statham will be among the guest speakers. Stan was involved in a previous attempt to split the state and has a great background on this subject.
