it appears to be the icon of our current Government.
The threaded portion (as it appears) is screwing the core of a beautiful jewel (representative of a once magnificent nation), while the head of all of it (WH) is getting support from mysterious branches clawing and sucking the life out of the green pastures of our economy.

“It” is a type of virus that uses a bacterium to reproduce. It is called a bacteriophage. It infects the bacterium and replicates within the bacterium. They are being studied as a means to attack bacteria that has become resistant to antibiotics.
And the correct answer is (drum roll) a bacterium!!!! It kinda looks man-made doesn’t it? I see a spring and wires…but it’s a living thing, weird, eh?
I’m sorry but it is NOT a bacterium. It is a bacteriophage, which is a virus that uses a bacterium.
