This was supposed to be an easy victory for the US trained Iraqi Army led by Iranian military officers. However, the battle for Tikrit has stalled because ISIS forces are not running away as planned. Despite being outgunned and outnumbered ISIS defenders have repelled every attempt to advance on Tikrit.
The Obama Administration has done everything in their power to avoid being involved in this fight, but unfortunately by creating a leadership void we’ve effectively deferred that important role to Iran. Iran of course has been only too pleased to take it, as its part of their plan to extend their Shia influence all the way to Lebanon and Iraq is the key part to completing this power grab.
Meanwhile in Yemen, Iranian backed rebels called the Houthi (Part of Iran’s Shia) are in control now. Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, Yemen’s president fled today by boat, leaving Yemen in a state of chaos and to the whims of the Houthi. They may not be ISIS but they are not friends of the USA either. The Houthi made it clear they want the US out of the country. We left almost as fast as President Hadi, leaving behind $500 million in US weapons which is now believed to be in the hands of terrorists inside Syria.
The Houthis are backed by President Hadi’s predecessor, Ali Abdullah Saleh and Iran, stormed the capitol in September and have since expanded their control over other parts of the country.
Seems like there is no stability in the Middle East, no matter where you look except in Israel. And the irony is, President Obama and his administration have gone out of their way to make relations with them difficult. Even to the point of insulting the Prime Minister by calling him a “chickensh–” This was said because Netanyahu would not cave in to Palestinian demands that Obama supported. The Obama official who said this during a secret White House meeting was never identified or punished.

And along the line of inept moves made by Obama, finally after months of waiting we hear that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will be charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, according to Bergdahl’s attorney and a Congressional source.
Of course those 5 released from Gitmo on Bergdahls’ behalf by Obama, will still be free to aid in slaughtering more US military personal.
Golf, vacations, basketball brackets, DNC fund raisers all those priorities first with Obama.
I heard on FOX today that three of the 5 have violated the terms of release and have been consulting with the Taliban. i think this release was because B O man wants to close gitmo. this deal always seemed peculiar to me. i think we should be expanding gitmo! what are we going to do with isis soldiers? i don’t think they are going to be good bets for going home and being nice do you?
