Open Border Policy Now Official

illegal-aliensPosted by Tina

America has surrendered at the border. Our U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have been told to release those who enter the country illegally and refrain from orders to appear at deportation hearings in court. If that’s not nutty enough for you it’s also been ordered that none of the invading horde are to be tracked. What has prompted such insanity? The story is that the courts have been overwhelmed by the numbers of mostly young men surging across our border.Apparently, “embarrassment” is a driving factor. It’s not surprising that after this administrations border policy embarrassment would follow. As you’d expect birder patrol agents are stunned:

“We might as well abolish our immigration laws altogether,” suggested agent Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council.

Testifying on the two-year border surge of immigrant youths, Judd said the policy shift was prompted by Obama administration “embarrassment” that just over half of illegals ordered to appear in court actually do.

“The willful failure to show up for court appearances by persons that were arrested and released by the Border Patrol has become an extreme embarrassment for the Department of Homeland Security. It has been so embarrassing that DHS and the U.S. attorney’s office has come up with a new policy,” he testified before the immigration subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee.

The biggest change: Undocumented immigrants are no longer given a “notice to appear” order, because they simply ignore them. Judd said that border agents jokingly refer to the NTAs as “notices to disappear.”

What has led to the attitude that America is a push-over nation just asking to be overwhelmed? What has led to the attitude that Americans are such suckers for exploitation? Why has the Obama administration sent the message that America will not only welcome invaders with open arms but we will feed, house, educate, and provide medical and higher education as well? What insanity turns a blind eye to disease, criminals, and terrorists? What moron refuses to consider the health and well-being of American citizens?

This administration has a bad attitude toward America. He does not see America as a shinging example of freedom and opportunity but as a too white, privileged, selfish nation that deserves to be brought to her knees. If you can’t tell, I am seething this morning at the utter #@&$*#%*& (couldn’t think of a word that was bad enough!) of the Obama administration.

When the President began his first term in office he spoke at a prestigious Catholic University. He insisted that religous artifacts and symbols be covered so as not to offend. In the last few days he spoke at a Mosque and of all the mosques he could have visited he chose one whose members have been associated with terrorism. Religious symbols were not covered. All of these actions show contempt for American values, contempt for the diversity he so often proudly proclaims, and contempt for the people, that we are so stupid as not to have noticed that his rhetoric rarely matches his action.

We Americans have been restrained in our evaluations of this man because of his color. That is an appalling circumstance in a nation that has over decades bent over backwards to be inclusive and fair to all people and religions. Equality means we are all equal in terms not only of opportunity but in terms of criticism.

Opening our borders to hordes of people without concern for the American people and behaving as a militant organizer rather than the leader of our nation has been a total disaster. And this agenda driven little man has eight long months more to smugly spit in our faces. President Obama has been on a course to destroy this nation and it’s about time he received the HARSH criticism he so richly deserves.

This is just another step in the path to citizenship for illegals and voters for Democrats.

From open borders to the global warming…er…climate change scam to Agenda 21 to central banking, the New World Odor is hell bent on destroying the American middle class. We will all be part of the poor masses dependent and controlled by the New World Odor elite.

Tina: “When the President began his first term in office he spoke at a prestigious Catholic University. He insisted that religous artifacts and symbols be covered so as not to offend.”

    Lie.

“Georgetown University spokeswoman Julie Green Bataille: In coordinating the logistical arrangements for yesterday’s event, Georgetown honored the White House staff’s request to cover all of the Georgetown University signage and symbols behind Gaston Hall stage.

The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches. Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.

Bataille’s statement has been repeated in other news accounts. A White House spokesman also told news organizations following the story that the only motivation behind the request was to create a presidential image for TV. “Decisions made about the backdrop for the speech were made to have a consistent background of American flags, which is standard for many presidential events. Any suggestions to the contrary are simply false,” spokesman Shin Inouye told ABC News, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times.
CNSNews.com noted that while the “IHS” behind the president’s podium wasn’t visible, “the letters ‘IHS’ are posted elsewhere around the hall approximately 26 times” and that Obama mentioned Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in his remarks. There are also religious paintings visible high above Obama’s head in MSNBC’s video of the speech.”

“This administration has a bad attitude toward America. He does not see America as a shinging example of freedom and opportunity but as a too white, privileged, selfish nation that deserves to be brought to her knees.”

Your continued insistence that the president is deliberately sabotaging the nation remains your stupidest attribute.

    “Invading hordes”

As I’ve said before, if you do not want to be perceived as a racist, don’t talk like one. If you insist on saying racist things like this, please do not complain when people accurately criticize you for saying racist things.

    • Tina says:

I’m sure for you Chris it’s a lie…would be no matter what. But your opinion is just your opinion. I think the “painted black plywood” was beyond the pale and unnecessary to achieve the Presidents request. For me, it was entirely unnecessary and disrespectful, as if the symbol was offensive. No such contrivances were made when Obama spoke at the mosque.

      CNS news:

Georgetown University says it covered over the monogram “IHS”–symbolizing the name of Jesus Christ—because it was inscribed on a pediment on the stage where President Obama spoke at the university on Tuesday and the White House had asked Georgetown to cover up all signs and symbols there.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the “IHS” monogram that had previously adorned the stage at Georgetown’s Gaston Hall was still covered up–when the pediment where it had appeared was photographed by CNSNews.com.

“In coordinating the logistical arrangements for yesterday’s event, Georgetown honored the White House staff’s request to cover all of the Georgetown University signage and symbols behind Gaston Hall stage,” Julie Green Bataille, associate vice president for communications at Georgetown, told CNSNews.com.

“The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches,” she added. “Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.”

On Wednesday, CNSNews.com inspected the pediment embedded in the wall at the back of the stage in Gaston Hall, where Obama delivered his speech. The letters “IHS” were not to be found. They appeared to be shrouded with a triangle of black-painted plywood. (see photo)

Pictures of the wooden pediment prior to Obama’s speech show the letters “IHS” in gold. Many photos posted on the Internet of other events at Gaston Hall show the letters clearly.

The White House did not respond to a request from CNSNews.com to comment on the covering up of Jesus’ name at Gaston Hall.

As for your other comments…go pound sand! “Invading hordes” can hardly be considered racist. And there ARE hordes of people entering our nation illegally and unchecked. This administration has done nothing but accommodate and encourage them! You may think this is the way our nation should approach immigration and the border…I DO NOT.

And I’m not the only American that questions the motives behind such an irresponsible, damaging, policy. Obama’s often speaks with forked tongue. He is the liar!

Wake up Chris. If you don’t want to sound like an ignorant, naive, moron keep accusing me of racism when clearly my concerns are with the safety and well-being of ALL U.S. citizens and the appalling, pathetic excuse for a president this man has been.

      • Chris says:

Tina: “I’m sure for you Chris it’s a lie…would be no matter what. But your opinion is just your opinion.”

Can you read? You said that the symbols were covered so as not to offend anyone. That was a lie to the Georgetown VP you quoted!

There is such a thing as an objective fact, Tina; you don’t get to tell lies and then claim it’s just a difference of opinion.

“No such contrivances were made when Obama spoke at the mosque”

…Nor were they made when Obama has spoken at many, many other churches, so this double standard you’ve invented is obviously imaginary, and based on highly cherry-picked information.

        • Tina says:

Clever response. Ignore that big black piece of plywood. Attack me for pointing out the extraordinary and unnecessary covering and change the subject to “many other churches” as if this instance, early in his presidency, was totally insignificant. The plywood makes absolutely zero sense…that is an opinion…mine.

          • Chris says:

Tina: “Clever response. Ignore that big black piece of plywood”

I didn’t ignore it, I explained it. Actually, I quoted a university official who explained it. You also quoted another university official who corroborated that explanation. Neither supported the explanation that right-wing blogs invented and which you parroted like a good little soldier, which is that Obama asked the symbols to be covered so as not to offend anyone.

The reason they did not corroborate that explanation is because it was a lie.

“change the subject to “many other churches” as if this instance, early in his presidency, was totally insignificant”

It’s not changing the subject, it’s showing that you are cherry-picking examples to fit your narrative. If Obama has visited dozens of churches without covering up any signs, then *of course* the fact that he covered up signs at Georgetown but didn’t at this mosque was insignificant.

You chose to make a false comparison between Georgetown and the mosque, ignoring the fact that Obama’s behavior at the mosque was no different from his behavior at many Christian churches, in order to suggest that Obama harbors bias against Christians and towards Muslims. Instead of admitting that this was a false, cherry-picked comparison, you’re now getting mad at me for calling you on it.

            Pathetic.

          • Tina says:

Quoting Chris, who was quoting the schools spokesperson:

“Georgetown University spokeswoman Julie Green Bataille: In coordinating the logistical arrangements for yesterday’s event, Georgetown honored the White House staff’s request to cover all of the Georgetown University signage and symbols behind Gaston Hall stage. … the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.

            Not a lie.

          • Chris says:

Where does it say anything about not wanting to offend anyone?

    • Pie Guevara says:

Oh, shut the hell up you jerk. Did I call it or did I not when I wrote that when Chris wished Tina would recover soon when she had a lengthy absence, it was because he could not wait for Tina to heal so he can resume abusing her?

Could it be that everything Tina writes is a “lie?” Or could it be that sometimes she is in error, or that sometimes she is correct and sees through the bull#@$% Chris turns a blind eye towards?

You know, Chris, you could try to be more diplomatic, but hey, who am I to instruct an $*@hole bent on humiliating and insulting Tina AT EVERY TURN?

When it comes to being a racist, no one can hold a candle compared to this phony, insensitive, racist bigot Chris. Does anyone besides me remember when this jerk said he would be first in line to burn Obama’s feet if he thought he was lying? Burning Negroes was once a favorite pastime of Democrats. Oh, yeah, Mr. Sensitivity! Good call.

Does anyone remember when Chris said Indonesia was a backwards country (or something like that? What an outrageous, bigoted, phony liberal jerk! Indonesia is an economic powerhouse, has republican form of government that includes an elected legislature and president, and hosts the Formula Grand Prix!

Contrast that to Post Scripts hosting the Grand Prick.

      • Chris says:

Pie, calling someone out for spreading lies is not “abuse.”

Using the incredibly common expression of “holding a politician’s feet to the fire” is not racist, but you know that already.

I do not remember ever describing Indonesia as a “backwards country;” that doesn’t sound like me, but I might have. If so, I regret those words.

  4. Chris says:

Tina: “In the last few days he spoke at a Mosque and of all the mosques he could have visited he chose one whose members have been associated with terrorism.

    That’s also a lie.

“The accusations are rooted in criticisms surrounding the mosque’s former imam Mohamad Adam El-Sheikh, who served the community from 1983 to 1989 and from 1994 to 2003. Despite the fact that Sheikh has never been accused of propagating extremism, conservatives bemoaned his former membership with Sudan’s chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood, even though he cut ties with the group in 1992. They also pointed to his former role as a regional director for the Islamic American Relief Agency, a local subsidiary of an international body accused of some extremist ties, and noted that he took over as imam of a D.C.-area mosque in 2003 where an al-Qaeda once preached fiery sermons — even though Sheikh never delivered those sermons himself.
The Daily Caller also harped on a 2003 quote it said showcased Sheikh “defending” suicide bombings as a form of self-defense.
“If certain Muslims are to be cornered where they cannot defend themselves, except through these kinds of means, and their local religious leaders issued fatwas to permit that, then it becomes acceptable as an exceptional rule, but should not be taken as a principle,” Sheikh told the Washington Post at the time.”

    http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2016/02/03/3745856/obama-mosque-conservatives-extremism/

    “Religious symbols were not covered.”

Nor were any religious symbols covered in any of the dozens of photos I found of Obama speaking in Christian churches by simply typing “Obama church” into Google, like a responsible adult:

    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Obama+church

If Obama hates Christianity so much why didn’t he cover any of those?

It’s also important to note that this is the first mosque Obama has visited in his entire presidency. How many churches has he visited in that time? A whole hell of a lot more, and you want to pretend that this one visit proves that he is biased toward Muslims and against Christians? You’re ridiculous, and your arguments are based on the most blatant cherry-picking and guilt by association tactics ever. You should be ashamed of yourself for engaging in this type of idiocy, and for getting caught in it.

    • Tina says:

The president visiting churches doesn’t impress me, he is a fantastic panderer and community organizer. He is the ultimate campaigner and I’m certain his reasons for visiting both have to do with either his “legacy” or votes.

“…and you want to pretend that this one visit proves that he is biased toward Muslims and against Christians?”

There you go, deciding my thoughts are driven by the evil crap in YOUR head so you can go postal!

I questioned his choice of mosques…there are a couple of thousand to choose from:

The overall number of mosques in the United States quietly rose from 1,209 in 2000 to 2,106 in 2010, an increase of 74%

I’m not the only person concerned about the President’s choice:

“As a Muslim American I’m just insulted, this is disgraceful that this is one of the mosques — or the mosque — that he’s chosen to visit,” Zuhdi Jasser, of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, told Fox News on Sunday. “This mosque is very concerning.”

The former imam in question is Mohamad Adam El-Sheikh, who served at the Baltimore mosque from 1983-1989 and 1994-2003. A member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan, he had moved to the U.S. in 1978 and went on to receive several advanced law degrees as he became involved in the religious community.

During his time in Baltimore, El-Sheikh was a regional director for the Islamic American Relief Agency, the international parent organization of which has been cited by the U.S. Treasury Department for connections to Al Qaeda and the Taliban. After 2003, he was the imam for the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., near Washington. It was there that Awlaki, just months earlier, gave his fiery sermons, before going on to be a top Al Qaeda affiliate operative in Yemen. Awlaki, a U.S. citizen, was killed in a U.S. drone strike in 2011.

My OPINIONS are based on the president’s patterns of behavior, his background, and his biases that are blatantly obvious to anyone that hasn’t been blinded by political correctness and the insane belief that Islam isn’t part of the problem when it comes to terrorists. Too bad you’re unwilling to see the ineptitude in this president. He tarnishes his own messaging by choosing this particular mosque. He has done more to divide the nation than anyone by implying that Americans in general would harm innocent Muslims…or blacks…or any other minority. The lectures are insulting and unnecessary. He should address issues of targeting Muslims unfairly…he should not issue these generalized screeds.

For the record I have never generalized about Muslims. NEVER! I have never wished innocent Muslims harm and would come to the defense of any who might be targeted for harm. At the same time I am disgusted by the policies and actions of this president. He has made the entire world more dangerous with his feckless, apologetic approach to Muslim terrorists.

Wake up. This open border policy is another piece in the long drawn out pattern.

      • Chris says:

Tina, you’re admitting that the basis for the “terrorist ties” claim is an imam who left the mosque over a decade ago? And that seems reasonable to you?

You’ve just been informed that this is the first ever mosque Obama has ever visited during his presidency, while he has visited many churches, and you’re accusing him of being biased toward Islam and against Christianity? That adds up in your mind?

“He has done more to divide the nation than anyone by implying that Americans in general would harm innocent Muslims”

Quote me the exact sentence wherein Obama implies that Americans “in general” would harm Muslims. Dollars to donuts it’s a reading/listening comprehension error on your part.

“For the record I have never generalized about Muslims. NEVER!”

This is another lie, and I will be back later with direct quotes from you in which you made generalized statements about Muslims.

        • Tina says:

He’s not just an imam who left a decade ago. He is an imam with close ties to al Qaeda and Anwar Awlaki:

U.S. government officials allege that he was a senior recruiter and motivator who was involved in planning terrorist operations for the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda,[2][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] and he became the first United States citizen to be targeted and killed in a United States drone strike.[15] His son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, was killed by a U.S. drone strike two weeks later.[16] With a blog, a Facebook page, the al-Qaeda magazine Inspire, and many YouTube videos, al-Awlaki was described by Saudi news station Al Arabiya as the “bin Laden of the Internet.”[17][18] After a request from the US Congress, in November 2010 Google removed many of al-Awlaki’s videos from its websites.[19] Al-Awlaki’s teachings are still influencing Islamists in the West and internationally, with his statements, articles, and lectures being cited and used as inspiration by Islamic extremists.[20]

As imam at a mosque in Falls Church, Virginia (2001–02), al-Awlaki spoke with and preached to three of the 9/11 hijackers, who were al-Qaeda members.[21] In 2001, he presided at the funeral of the mother of Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist who later e-mailed him extensively in 2008–09 before the Fort Hood shootings.[22][23] During al-Awlaki’s later radical period after 2006–07, when he went into hiding, he was associated with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who attempted the 2009 Christmas Day bombing of an American airliner.[24][25][26] Al-Awlaki was allegedly involved in planning Abdulmutallab’s attack.

The Yemeni government tried him in absentia in November 2010, for plotting to kill foreigners and being a member of al-Qaeda. A Yemeni judge ordered that he be captured “dead or alive.”[27][28] Some US officials said that in 2009, al-Awlaki was promoted to the rank of “regional commander” within al-Qaeda.[29][30] Others felt that Nasir al-Wuhayshi still held this rank and that al-Awlaki was an influential member in the group.[29] He repeatedly called for jihad against the United States.[31][32]

I haven’t been able to find it but I also saw a journalists report in which he claimed to have visited this mosque and saw a lot of extremist materials.

“…and you’re accusing him of being biased toward Islam and against Christianity?”

I accuse him of being irresponsible regarding the terrorist threat within this nation and the criminals and terrorists flowing across open borders he does nothing to control. I accuse him of facilitating the destruction of our economy and jobs. I accuse him:

What has led to the attitude that America is a push-over nation just asking to be overwhelmed? What has led to the attitude that Americans are such suckers for exploitation? Why has the Obama administration sent the message that America will not only welcome invaders with open arms but we will feed, house, educate, and provide medical and higher education as well? What insanity turns a blind eye to disease, criminals, and terrorists? What moron refuses to consider the health and well-being of American citizens?

This administration has a bad attitude toward America. He does not see America as a shining example of freedom and opportunity but as a too white, privileged, selfish nation that deserves to be brought to her knees.

Obama is a clever orator. He has said many things that sound good. He expounded prior to being elected about the unpatriotic and un-American George Bush who, as it turned out, raised our debt less than Obama went on to do in a lot less time. He boldly told us Obamacare would lower the cost of healthcare and that we could keep our insurance and doctor…LIES…lovely rhethoric that is meaningless when you watch what he does. Standing with militants against police officers BEFORE he had the facts. Pitting groups against each other.

There is a pattern. You just refuse to see it.

Can’t wait for the quotes. Wake me up after I have damaged the nation to the extent that Obama has with his divisive posture and rhetoric and his failures to adequately secure our border and name the enemy that declared war on us.

          • Chris says:

“He’s not just an imam who left a decade ago. He is an imam with close ties to al Qaeda and Anwar Awlaki”

WHO LEFT THE MOSQUE OVER A DECADE AGO. So regardless of the imam’s ties, it isn’t fair to accuse the mosque of having terrorist ties.

  5. Tina says:

A related story involves higher crime/murder rates, problems in schools, dangerous gang recruitment and expansion of territory:

In Frederick County, Md., 20 miles from the White House, crime has jumped since about 265 illegal unaccompanied Central American minors were placed there. Gang fights in schools are now common and one of the older MS-13 “shot callers” was approved for President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

    — In Boston, cops just arrested 56 MS-13 gang members, many who arrived in the surge of younger Latinos. Some have been linked to teen murders in an initiation rite, trying to prove themselves worthy of full membership.

    — In Loudoun, County, Va., home to Washington’s Dulles International Airport, three unaccompanied minors who arrived in 2013 have been indicted for the gang-related murder of 17-year-old Danny Centeno Miranda, also an unaccompanied minor living with his uncle.

Makes you wonder when those on the left who consider this a humanitarian situation will wake up.

  6. Dewster says:

    Tina;

You republish propaganda often. This is misleading.

Everybody knows you hate the president. OK no big deal. He is not my fav but I will give him credit when he does good and rail him when he drinks the Kool-aid.

You compare groups of people by race, immigration status ect. You also ignore anything a Republican does that involves crime. Gov Snyder’s Authoritarian removal of democracy Kills people and harms.

You realize we are basically at a net zero for people coming across the border more leave. You also need to realize the PBO admin has been one of the most brutal in raiding households and stripping immigrants out. That should make you happy. But there is a deeper thread to which this hate is embedded. care to share it?

    • Tina says:

Dewey I do not hate the president. I hate what the president has done to our country. I hate that he continues to pretend that everything is just fine. I hate that he refuses to take advice or change course.

I do not compare people “by race, immigration status, etc.” I point to people who are breaking our laws or committing terrorists or criminal acts against our nation. I point to the ridiculous way this president addresses these problems.

“You also ignore anything a Republican does that involves crime. Gov Snyder’s Authoritarian removal of democracy Kills people and harms.”

What an ignorant thing to say. Governor Snyder has taken his responsibility to seriously in this debacle. The decades long Democrat run city is the problem…a fact you choose to ignore.

NEWS FLASH…this is a conservative blog. I have never promised to be fair…I do offer the opportunity for anyone to comment from any perspective. You have NOTHING to complain about at PS where we discuss politics, issues and the news of the day.

Obama is good at asking for more money to secure the border and he talks a good game. Your estimation of what has actually happened under his so-called leadership is complete bologna. Human trafficking, drug cartels, American jobs being taken by immigrants coming here both legally and illegally. Disney and other big companies ask for more immigration so that American workers can be replaced by cheaper labor from other countries and Obama makes a big speech about how America needs these workers.

When these things happen naturally within a free economy it’s one thing; when it’s orchestrated by our government it’s appalling.

  7. Pie Guevara says:

Here we go again! The left-wing $#@holes have successfully hijacked another Post Scripts thread with issues that have nothing to do with the topic. Anyone besides me fed up with this noise? Their aim is pretty damn obvious.

    • Chris says:

Tina’s dig at Obama’s choice of mosque to visit, and her dishonest spin on how Obama ha treated mosques vs. Christian institutions, also had nothing to do with her own topic. If she’s going to rant about things that don’t support her main idea I don’t see how you can blame others for responding in kind.

  8. Tina says:

Pi I have to apologize and take responsibility for indulging them. A failing of mine is that I find it hard to let things go unanswered.

I do appreciate those who stick to the topic.
