Let’s Roll Together

Lets Rollby Chuck Ness

I for one do not like the result of this primary race, but who would after they put their heart and soul into wanting to win. It was a classic battle, but Trump won. Just like military academies teach the logistics of some of history’s greatest battles of war, so too will this epic battle be taught for generations to come by Political Science instructors. The lessons learned will affect the way politicians run their campaigns for decades.

Both sides got down and dirty, as they obliterated the detente that made everyone speculate as to why they refused to attack each other early in the campaign. Often times even those who are the best of friends can have the nastiest of breakups.

The first murder in history was Cain killing his brother Able. In many divorces two people, who once promised togetherness till death do they part, actually turn their children against each other as their reputations and character get destroyed in the court of public opinion. Well the Trump/Cruz war did not fail to entertain the MSM, as supporters of both sides took things so personally that even family members ended up with strained relationships.

Being the youngest of 8 children I have seen my share of rough and tumble: knife throwing, dinner destroying, hair removing, black eye, and fat lip arguments over things that only siblings could lose it over. Well ladies and gentleman, like my parents said when enough was enough, “It’s over, it’s time to let it go!” Time to head to your own corner to calm down and reconsider who the enemy truly is in this bitter election.

The Republican party is a big family with many factions. For many of us, it’s become somewhat of a dysfunctional family, but still a family. I would advise everyone from both sides of the Trump/Cruz fight to do as our parents told us to do when we were fighting with our beloved brother or sister. Drop it, and make up. Stop already with the insults, and accept defeat as a gracious loser or be humble in your win. Nothing good will come from those who are unable to drop the weapons and shake hands.

As for not voting for Trump in the General. Let me make this perfectly clear, with no ambiguity. When the Republican Convention anoints their candidate, regardless of who it is, I will vote for that candidate in November. I would just as soon murder my whole family and pop a cyanide pill in my mouth before I allow my vote or non-vote to get any Democrat elected to the White House. There is no greater threat that remains of our freedoms than Hillary Clinton becoming the leader of this once great nation.

We can sometimes agree and disagree so vehemently that things can get rough and tumble as we verbally throw knives, pull hair, and give each other black eyes and fat lips. Right now I advise everyone to step back and regain your sense of direction as to what the true goal is. Using the last recorded words of a Great American, which echo in my head when the going gets tough, I offer this phrase to all. “Let’s Roll!” But let us all roll together for a common cause, the total and complete destruction of Hillary Clinton’s political career.

Chuck Ness: “I would just as soon murder my whole family and pop a cyanide pill in my mouth before I allow my vote or non-vote to get any Democrat elected to the White House.”

You sound like a really rational person.

The fact is this: Every vote cast in the primaries for Donald Trump was a vote cast for Hilary Clinton. Trump cannot possibly win a general election. He has the highest unfavorable ratings of any politician in generations, and that includes his approval in his own party. Republicans are lining up in droves to say they will never, ever vote for this disgusting clown.

You tell Republicans to stop fighting, but Trump started this fight, and has been the most aggressive and tasteless in his attacks. He’s the one who constantly referred to the other Republicans with mocking slurs, accused a FOX News reporter of asking him a question about sexism because she was on her period, had his campaign manager manhandle another conservative female reporter, and baselessly accused the father of his opponent, the most conservative member of Congress, of being in on the Kennedy assassination. These are new lows in politics. Trump brought your party to that place. And you want to reward that by electing him president? At least with Clinton in the WH, you don’t have to hang your head in shame that she represents your party.

But it doesn’t matter. Go ahead, vote for Trump. He is not going to win. The question is, how much damage will he do on his way to failure? And will you let him do it all in your name?

    • bob says:

“The fact is this: Every vote cast in the primaries for Donald Trump was a vote cast for Hilary Clinton.”

Not so. The Republicans only hope, even if it is a long shot, is to nominate an outsider or at least someone who is perceived as an outsider. Otherwise it is 2008 or 2012 all over again. And besides, who are you to question his chuckness?

    • Pie Guevara says:

Re: “You sound like a really rational person.”

Sheesh Chris, you’re always such an obtuse literal ***hole when it serves your purpose to be a snotty and pompus left-wing jerk. How is that working for you? Are you making friends and influencing people? Or are you just crapping on Post Scripts to make yourself feel better?

Obviously Chuck Ness was using exaggeration to make his feelings clear about his anti-Democrat sentiments.

At least Chris and I have coincident predictions, for whatever that is worth. Trump will not be the next POTUS. I actually hope he is, if only to rub Chris’ face in his own excrement, the same excrement he tosses daily at these pages and the people who write and comment here.

Imagine what his students must think of him. Chris’ is under the delusion he can compartmentalize his pathological behavior.

  2. Dewster says:

Here’s a little fact neither the GOP or DNC can win without us Indies. Both know that.

We are a larger base but do not vote together.

So they will both etch a sketch their stump speeches. Proving they say anything for a vote, but plan to do whatever they want in the end.

A party is not a family. Epic Fail!

To vote solely based on a brand is a crock.

    Irresponsibly Insane

    • Tina says:

Being an independent voter is a crock in terms of contributing to actual legislation that affects our lives. Independents DON’T win the presidency. Independents in congress vote with the party in which they are more closely aligned, usually the Democrats. Other third parties similarly have little power to effect outcomes.

People have every right to align independently but please don’t be deluded about the power it affords you; it’s at best a protest. Quite often being independent is based in the notion that it somehow makes you superior and above it all. Independent voters are basically undecided or unaware of grounding principles and ideals. They brag that they vote on the person. Big deal, they should have some notion about the underlying belief systems that drive policy. There is a huge difference between the Marx/Mussolini based socialism and the constitutionally based conservatism.

This is why, Dewey, you can hold two opposing opinions at times and not even notice it.

  3. Tina says:

“…accused a FOX News reporter of asking him a question about sexism because she was on her period”

Not really. He said: “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her — wherever…” (trailed off).

The nasty gutter snipes, some of whom call themselves reporters, jumped to the conclusion, but there is nothing to suggest in his words that was what he meant. He was trying to convey (In frustration) that she was gunning for him right from the start. I think he took her question too personally but I didn’t get the impression that he was referring to menstruation in any way.

” had his campaign manager manhandle another conservative female reporter”

An exaggerated accusation which video, compared to her description of what happened, clearly showed. Her bruises were also on her forearm but it appears he “grabbed” her upper arm to steer her away from Trump. Turns out she had been aggressively attempting to get at Trump and had touched him prior to this incident as well. In a crowded room like that it might be easy to jump to a wrong conclusion but there’s really no excuse for her temper tantrum.

“Trump brought your party to that place.”

Oh brother! Your party’s bright lights literally LIVE in the gutter. One of it’s lions of the Senate killed a girl and got away with it and a past president is an accused serial philanderer, abuser, and rapist. One of your candidates is a woman whose rise in politics was on the shirt tails of her man…some feminist! She’s accused of espionage and other felonious activities and she lied directly to a mother about the death of her son which was due, in part, to her failures and mismanagement. This is a party that accuses opponents of wanting to push granny off a cliff for suggesting SS needs reform, a FACT that, if it’s to survive and stop adding to our national debt, is obvious. This is a party that accused Condi Rice of being GWB’s “House N*%%a.” And then there’s the time when the Democrat Party held a public show trial so Anita Hill could accuse Clarence Thomas of handing her a coke can with a pubic hair on it. This supposed incident must have really offender her since she followed him when he transferred to another department.

None of this vile behavior (and more) prevents you from voting Democrat, defending Democrats, or promoting Democrats.

The question should be, “When will the rank and file Democrats begin to hold their own party to the standards they set for the opposition?”

I think our party can survive a few bombastic insulting words in a contentious contest for president. But if you’re going to be so sanctimonious about behavior you should work on your own party before casting stones at ours, I understand Hillary is a real potty mouthed B when dealing with those she considers “beneath her.”

    • Harold says:

“The question should be, “When will the rank and file Democrats begin to hold their own party to the standards they set for the opposition?”

      NEVER!

      • Tina says:

Unfortunately Harold that’s probably the truthful answer.

But, Alinsky * RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules,” gives us permission to ask the question of THEM…preferably over and over again.

This is how our opponents have chosen to do politics. They don’t compete for votes on the issues. Their game is personal attack on the one hand and pandering to minorities and special interests on the other. They can’t win and rarely compete in the arena of ideas.

  4. bob says:

    Mr. Jack,

I would bet that out of all the Republican candidates Trump would be the most likely to support the state of Jefferson or at least be open minded enough to listen to the reasons it is so desperately needed. (I know of no national politician including our own congress critters who are even willing to listen.)

I think if you and Miss Tina approached the Trump people in California about this they might listen. You two are bigwigs in the Republican party in these parts and could make a compelling case and that could be yuge.

    • Post Scripts says:

Bob, even if Trump would like to help, this is one of those things that is controlled by Sacramento more than Washington. But, it’s still a good idea, I like the way you are thinking.

  5. bob says:

This sums up good old Hillary.

  6. Chris says:

    Tina:

“The nasty gutter snipes, some of whom call themselves reporters, jumped to the conclusion, but there is nothing to suggest in his words that was what he meant.”

Nothing except common sense, a basic understanding of tone and innuendo, and Trump’s own history of sexism.

“An exaggerated accusation which video, compared to her description of what happened, clearly showed. Her bruises were also on her forearm but it appears he “grabbed” her upper arm to steer her away from Trump.”

Why is “grabbed” in quotes? He didn’t “grab” her, he grabbed her. That is literally what happened.

“Oh brother! Your party’s bright lights literally LIVE in the gutter. One of it’s lions of the Senate killed a girl and got away with it”

Which was wrong, and I never would have voted for Ted Kennedy for any position if I had had the chance. What is your point? You are holding me responsible for things that happened before I was born?

I’m holding you responsible for your support for one single ugly individual. You are holding me responsible for the conduct of every Democrat that has ever lived. You are a partisan and a tribalist, and despite your cries of “individuality” and “personal responsibility,” you can’t see past the collective when it comes to left/right issues.

“and a past president is an accused serial philanderer, abuser, and rapist.”

    Key word: accused.

“One of your candidates is a woman whose rise in politics was on the shirt tails of her man…some feminist!”

No, Clinton’s accomplishments are her own. You are simply a sexist for attributing all of her accomplishments to her husband.

“She’s accused of espionage and other felonious activities”

    Key word: accused.

Everything I have said about Trump is documented, and typically in his own words. There is no need to dig up dirt on him because he is openly a terrible, bigoted human being. Everything you are accusing Clinton of is to be determined.

“and she lied directly to a mother about the death of her son”

    You don’t know that.

“This is a party that accuses opponents of wanting to push granny off a cliff for suggesting SS needs reform, a FACT that, if it’s to survive and stop adding to our national debt, is obvious.”

And it doesn’t bother you that Trump wants to keep SS exactly the way it is?

“This is a party that accused Condi Rice of being GWB’s “House N*%%a.””

No, the “party” did not do that; some in the party did that, and it was wrong. Again, you are assigning collective blame, a tactic you claim to abhor when Democrats do it.

“And then there’s the time when the Democrat Party held a public show trial so Anita Hill could accuse Clarence Thomas of handing her a coke can with a pubic hair on it. This supposed incident must have really offender her since she followed him when he transferred to another department.”

Because we all know women never ignore and compartmentalized harassment and abuse. (I’m not saying Thomas was guilty, because unlike you, I don’t assume guilt on the part of my political opponents when they’re accused of a crime. I’m also not assuming Anita Hill was lying. The fact is we do not know what happened.)

“None of this vile behavior (and more) prevents you from voting Democrat, defending Democrats, or promoting Democrats.”

And I am not asking you to let Trump’s behavior prevent you from voting Republican, defending Republicans, or promoting Democrats.

I am asking you to let Trump’s behavior prevent you from voting for Trump.

Because, unlike you, I don’t see people as a collective.

“I think our party can survive a few bombastic insulting words in a contentious contest for president. But if you’re going to be so sanctimonious about behavior you should work on your own party before casting stones at ours, I understand Hillary is a real potty mouthed B when dealing with those she considers “beneath her.””

You understand rumors to be truth when they are about people you don’t like.

  7. J. Soden says:

Regardless of whomever the Repub candidate is, a new Demwit prez would mean 4 – or more – years of Obumble’s failures. Or worse!
And this country CANNOT afford that, so you may have to hold your nose when casting your ballot in November!

    • Tina says:

      Absolutely correct.

Even if the Republican Party had rejected Trump in the beginning, Trump would today be in the race as an Independent candidate with the same following. He would still have managed and commanded the attention of the media to out perform the others and he would still have split party votes, both dems and reps.

Any way you look at it we’re still left in the same boat.

I think it’s a bit underhanded and unethical of the party to accept him as a candidate, ask him to promise to support the winner and not run as an independent, and then turn on him when he won.

    • Pie Guevara says:

I don’t think Trump would be much different from Hillary and I have already made up my mind. Trump is unfit to be POTUS and I refuse to vote for him in order to vote against Hillary.

Trump threatens to destroy what little is left of conservatism in the Republican party. He will be worse than any of the backstabbing establishment already serving at the federal level.

After four years of Hillary The Horror, Republicans holding and running for office may just wake up and become the conservatives they claim to be while Hillary continues to destroy the left-wing liberal idiot-ological brand.

  8. Chuck Ness says:

First off, I could care less what any Democrat or Independent thinks of what I had to say, because my piece was directed solely to Republicans.

As for who started what, again I could care less. he said she said is just another way to keep the fight going which the left would love to see. As long as we continue fighting, then we don’t join.

As for Indies? guess what? In 2012 Romney won the Indies over Obama. Seldom do the so called unwashed Independents carry an election. More times than not their vote goes equally to both sides. What is left goes either Green or Libertarian.

As for a family, sorry Chris, you may not like it, but it is.

As for Hillary winning because Trumps negatives are so high? His negatives are high due to Republicans. Republicans like me din;t like him, but I and the vast majority will vote for him. Hillary’s problem is the Millennials will not vote for her.

History shows that when the young voters do not get their candidate they do not vote. They liked Obama, and thus they votes. Hillary’s numbers with the young vote is worse, by a huge factor, compared to the rest of all candidates who were in the race.

When Bernie is gone, they will stay home. They always do, and polls show that over 30% of the Bernie supporters will vote Trump if Bernie ain’t there. Not since the voting age was lowered have the Democrats won the white house without the young vote.

Hillary is TOAST. She was going to lose to any Republican that won.

The question is not if, but by how bad Hillary will lose.

So continue telling yourself that Hillary will win, and keep telling republicans they don;’t like Trump, but come Wednesday morning after the election in November, Hillary, and you, will know that Hillary political career is over.

Why don’t you begin pushing Chelsea now, she’s 36 so she can run in 2020.

    • bob` says:

Why don’t you begin pushing Chelsea now, she’s 36 so she can run in 2020.

They will only push if she’s gay. These progressives will demand that this country elect its first gay president then after that its first transgender president.

      • Chuck Ness says:

I would agree with you Bob, except we already have the first gay president in Obama, and his wife pretty much fills the position as the first transgendered person in the White House.

So in one swooping step we had the 1st Muslim, the 1st Homo, and the 1st Transgendered person. Hell, Obama’s significant other has even had a chopitoffofme to make things seem as normal as possible.

  9. Pie Guevarea says:

Sorry folks, but Kevin D. Williamson of the National Review speaks for me —

This Election Is Not an A/B Test

    • Tina says:

I don’t disagree with Mr. Williamson’s opinions and concerns. Unfortunately, he offers nothing by way of alternative unless he has a Ronald Reagan clone in his pocket.

Hillary Clinton is also unfit and in my opinion and comes with a bad record at State plus a duffel bag filled with scandal. The email investigation hangs over her head and whether it’s allowed to go to trial or not the known information paints her as unfit to handle security concerns. She absolutely cannot be trusted. She has a record of treating people under her badly and with contempt. Ugh, do we really want the first woman president to be as terrible as the first black president has turned out to be?

Bernie is perhaps the most honest of the current bunch but what are his credentials? Nothing to brag about. This guy’s private sector resume is so thin my grandson, at age 18, has him matched, if not bettered. His oversight on the veterans affairs committee leaves much to be desired. His life has been about activism for socialist causes, as his early love affair with the politics of the USSR and Cuba would suggest.

So what are we to do if not get behind Trump and wait for the next opportunity, if there is one?

  10. Libby says:

You gotta try and get past the labels, Chuck.

Hillary is no progressive; you have nothing to fear.

I don’t even mind about Trump, except as he marks another step toward the total degradation of the Republic (the root cause being more a matter of Chuck’s deficiencies than Donald’s, frankly). Trump is unlikely to be able to do any of the ludicrous things he proposes. It’s more of … who wants to listen to all that pointless drivel for four years?

Also, my pride balks at being a global laughing stalk … and possibly menace, though my money’s on the Joint Chiefs.

    • Tina says:

No worries Libby we ARE a laughing stalk after seven.five years of the Nobel Peace Prize winner earning his award. ‘Member how upset you were over a few refugees under Bush? Hope and change baby, hope and change.

Since the world economy depends on the American economy doing well we’re pretty much looked at as a failure there too.

Hillary may not fit the progressive label per your definition but her proposed policies sure fit from my perspective.

I’d be interested in what you consider the “degradation of the Republic” if you care to expand on your thought.

  11. Chuck Ness says:

Hillary is a murdering, greedy, fascist who has violated hundreds of federal laws in her lifetime Libby.

The sooner she is locked up for her crimes against humanity the better for all of us.

I could list the many federal laws she has broken, but just go red U.S. Code § 793 – Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information. [ https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/793 ]

It explicitly explains how her “gross negligence” of handling classified information by allowing it to be sent via private email is a violation of the law.

If for no other reason she is guilty of violating this statute and belongs in jail.

I won’t even get into the more than 900 FBI files and other federal violations she is guilty of from the “90”s which have no statute of limitations for being tried on.

As for her progressive beliefs, I am flabbergasted you would even dare insult her that way, when she herself brags about the way she champions the modern day progressive movement.

Hillary is no progressive? Indeed. Do you go out in public with that screwed up head of yours?

  12. Dewster says:

Bottom Line Trump’s (Drumpf) Political Reality TV show is Branding the Republican Party beautifully!

If one supports him they own it!

He is not qualified and yet he won? LOL Good Times Ahead! And With the DC failing to represent the people he could win!

Love it…… He would be a disaster and the Republicans will own that too! From GW to Trump? Oh yea Babaeeeee!

If this country is to fall completely down to fascism why ot elect an authoritarian too! #HistoryRepeats

    • Tina says:

Republicans “branded?” But Dewey, you said recently we should give up labels, which is the same thing as “branding,” so what does it matter? Or was that just another one of your conflicting positions?

Did you vote for the hope and change candidate Dewey? Guess what? He wasn’t qualified either.

We won’t know whether Trump is qualified (Or a disaster) until he serves four years. That’s always the bottom line. Going in he has a lot of experience working with people, successfully, cutting through red tape, infighting, and bureaucratic nonsense. Of the three choices I’d give him a shot over the other two who have already proved themselves to be ineffectual bureaucrats by with little private sector experience.

Dewey for heavens sake. Bernie is the quintessential authoritarian. He wants government control over everything. Since he has zero appreciation for those who provide the money for his free stuff you can be sure we will lose even more jobs and rack up extraordinary debt. Take a look at Venezuela my friend if you want to see our future under Bernie’s heavy hand.

By the way…you lefties OWN the lousy economy, the mess in the Middle East, and the doubling of our debt. Your brand is the crap brand all around. Never in our history has an administration worked so hard AGAINST the best interests of the people and the nation…congrats!

  13. Peggy says:

    Some conservatives.

4 Signs From The Last 24 Hours That Trump Suckered Conservatives:
    By Ben Shapiro

    “So, you’re suckers.

Yes, you conservatives who keep waiting for Donald Trump to turn into Ronald Reagan, who hope to unify behind him thinking that he’ll surround himself with good people and that they will guide him to all the best decisions. Yes, you conservatives who bought into the Trumpian nonsense that he would blow up the system and change things in politics. In the last 24 hours Trump has indeed pivoted – directly against all of his supposedly conservative positions. Here are four examples:”

    http://www.dailywire.com/news/5486/4-signs-last-24-hours-trump-suckered-conservatives-ben-shapiro

    • Tina says:

I love Mr. Shapiro but he doesn’t speak for many conservatives who backed other candidates and who now accept the reality that Trump will be our candidate, barring shenanigans by the GOPe. He doesn’t describe me when he talks about those looking for Trump to morph into Reagan either…what a silly presumption.

Shapiro also misrepresents what Trump is saying. Any candidates ideas and plans are going to be subject to negotiations with Congress. Reporters trying to nail candidates down know this. When it comes to a republican candidate they’re looking for ways to discredit rather than promote.

I’m troubled by the so-called Soros connection but with an asterisk. Working for the company that bears Soros name doesn’t translate to political agreement or even awareness about Soros penchant for funneling his money to Democrats through so-called non-profits.

I wish Mr. Shapiro would suggest an alternative to those he holds in contempt. Right now he just seems to be venting.

I don’t think it was conservatives that put Trump on top. It was the people, Republicans, Democrats and Independents that have been screwed economically in the last seven plus years. Sometimes we forget it is the voice of the people that has the last word.

      • Libby says:

Tina, it’s forty years, fifty even.

But the real problem is people who believe that a member of the economic elite, a billionaire, is going to promote an agenda damaging to his class. “Suckers” is the word.

  14. Harold says:

So much attention being directed toward Trump, The GOP elites may have a major concern with his no BS approach shown so far, but if so that’s a problem of their own design.

And the politeness of the media presently showing little if any tangible research into Hillary past failures, and political favors that even led to her into a position to run for office. The media as well as the Liberal ideal logs have good reason to fear a man like Trump to change their deranged course of voter entrapment through entitlement handouts.

No I don’t believe that this is a new low in politics, it is just a typical but dirtier mud slinging approach to misinform voters of what this country needs now, less government, more self responsibility, and being able to face yourself in the mirror and say you matter, knowing that you did something in your support to redirect America toward a more positive direction!

The choice to me is simple as stating Hillary is not the answer to Americas problems, rather a conduit of more Liberal lies and failures.

Yet here we have a ongoing discussion about the merits of Trumps ideology, which it would seem represent more of Americas thinking that the Liberals, (or GOP Elites) care to acknowledge, all the time hardly word one about the negative effects that a Hillary presidency will cause emulating current course of Americas weakness at home and globally.

    • Tina says:

“…if so that’s a problem of their own design.”

Absolutely, Harold. Although I understand the frustration of trying to work with Democrats and a president that just doesn’t negotiate, The GOPe failed to respect the conservative base that delivered power to them in Congress and governors and legislators across the nation. They thought they could buy us off with gestures. They stupidly failed to back Ted Cruz when he stood up to the president…we would have had their backs had they just showed some courage.

  15. Chuck Ness says:

Supporting Trump in the general is the only choice, anything else is a vote for Hillary. Even if Trump turns out like Hillary, we did the best we can. Neither Trump nor Cruz are are when the establishment desires, and while Trump is not who I want, he is better than anything the Democrats offer.

I could go down the list of reasons, and I will if people are too lazy to look at the facts.

Look, I spent that last 4 years touting Ted Cruz, and I used every weapon at my disposal during the primary, but it wasn’t enough. There still is an outside chance that Trump will fail to get the magic number needed to clinch, and we could end up with a contested convention. If so then, Ted Cruz has the delegates needed to win on a second ballot.

That’s a big if, and I don’t live in the world of ifs, buts, and maybeville.

Anyone who is angry, maybe should have gotten involved at the grass roots level after McCain lost to the racist, Muslim, homo in 2008, or when Romney lost in 2012, instead of waiting for today to complain that someone stole the nomination.

I hear this every time a moderate or liberal wins the Republican primary, whether it be for a state wide election or a national one. I didn’t get the person I won, they stole the election, the rules are rigged against us, I am tired of the leadership. What a bunch of whining little miscreants.

I ask all of you who are bitching and threatening to either write in a name, vote third party, or stay home, when was the last time you went down to a local Republican meeting to try and change the way things are done? When was the last time you attempted to grab hold of the local leadership and vote for different delegates to attend the state Republican convention to change the way things are done or move the direction of the party that has been moving to the left since Reagan left office?

Well, you want to make a statement? Really? Then come June make sure you help Ted Cruz win the California primary. Yes, help Ted.

See, ted Cruz did NOT drop out. He suspended his campaign. So he will still be on the ballot of every remaining state that has a primary. Stop your friggin bitching and do something that will make a HUUUGE statement by stopping Trump win the delegates he needs to clinch. If Ted Cruz wins California, there will be a contested convention.

If Trump wins in a landslide and he also carries Butte county, then I better not hear one peep from all you who are angry.

    NOT ONE!

It is time ti put up or SHUT UP!

  17. Libby says:

Actually, Shapiro may also qualify for the appellation as there is no evidence that The Donald has, or ever had, policy positions. The man just says whatever pops into his head, whatever the situation he’s in at the time seems to call for, however deranged that may be.

I think the word for The Donald may be “Sociopath.” You really gonna put one of those in the White House?

  18. Libby says:

P.S. I am sooooo glad I don’t own a television. The quantity and quality of campaign ads with which you all are gonna be afflicted beggars the imagination.

  19. Chris says:

    Chuck Ness:

“I would agree with you Bob, except we already have the first gay president in Obama, and his wife pretty much fills the position as the first transgendered person in the White House.

So in one swooping step we had the 1st Muslim, the 1st Homo, and the 1st Transgendered person. Hell, Obama’s significant other has even had a chopitoffofme to make things seem as normal as possible.”

    “…racist, Muslim, homo…”

You’re a disgusting piece of work, Chuck.

Jack and Tina: When people accuse Republicans of being sexist, bigoted, conspiracy-minded, and anti-gay, Chuck is exactly the type of Republican they’re thinking of.

You should speak out against this rhetoric, unless you want people to think you agree.

      • Chris says:

Bob, Jerome Corsi also believes Obama was born in Kenya, despite overwhelming documented proof that he was born in Hawaii.

Why would I bother listening to this crazy con man’s rantings about Obama’s sexuality, which isn’t even half as relevant as his birthplace?

I wouldn’t, and neither should you. Only a gullible idiot would.

And only an anti-gay would think calling Obama a “homo” as a slur was in any way acceptable.

Stop being a stereotype. Republicans deserve better than to be labeled as bigots and conspiracy theorists. You, Jerome Corsi, Chuck, and Donald Trump (who at least doesn’t appear to be anti-gay) are ruining things for your fellow Republicans.

When they are tarred as racists, homophobes, anti-Muslim bigots, and gullible lunatics who believe crazy conspiracy theories, that is because of you.

        Stop it.

        • bob says:

What about those black men of Reverend Wright’s church who were mysteriously killed? Don’t black lives matter? Not to liberals like you. If it means shedding the truth on Obama’s homosexuality then the answer is these black lives will never matter.

          • Chris says:

“What about those black men of Reverend Wright’s church who were mysteriously killed?”

You are one of the dumbest people I have ever encountered.

          • Chuck Ness says:

            Chris tells bob,

“You are one of the dumbest people I have ever encountered.”

You obviously never looked in the mirror have you Chris? No wonder you look so disheveled always.

    • Tina says:

Like you, Chuck represents himself and his opinions on Post Scripts. And as you know we discourage Hall Monitors.

Everyone who posts here is personally responsible for his comments. Everyone who reads is personally responsible for what he gets from the article and comments. We respect the ability of our readers to decide for themselves whether something posted is sexist, bigoted, conspiracy-minded, or anti-gay.

Give up the need to tell people how to think, how to react, what can and cannot be said. We have free speech in this country, remember?

      • Chris says:

Tina: “We respect the ability of our readers to decide for themselves whether something posted is sexist, bigoted, conspiracy-minded, or anti-gay.”

        So, what do you think?

Do you think insisting that the president is a “homo” and his wife a transgender is conspiracy-minded, bigoted and anti-gay?

Come on, Tina. You are never shy about expressing opinions on bigotry from the left. But when it comes to bigotry from the right, all of a sudden your lips are sealed?

  20. Chris says:

Wait–is this the same Chuck who posted the most attention-getting article on Post Scripts, where he blamed the decline of America on women getting the right to vote? I thought he had a different last name.

What a bigoted a-hole this guy is.

  21. Chris says:

Given Chuck’s recent comments, a better title for this article would be “Let’s Roll Together, unless you’re a Muslim, gay, transgender, or a woman, in that case I don’t even consider you a full American and you shouldn’t have the right to vote.”

    • Chuck Ness says:

Chris, if you re not a Republican this article was not written for you to consider.

This was written for Republicans voting in the Republican primary.

Tell me Chris, why should we give a rats ass about your opinion on what the Republican candidates or it’s voters should do?

When I write about the Democrat party’s primary, then your opinion MIGHT be considered.

Probably not, but you never know.

      • Chris says:

I don’t share your opinion of most Republicans, Chuck–I think that not only do most of them not share your deranged belief that Obama is a Double-Secret Gay Muslim (nor do they share your hatred for both groups), but that most would be appalled at such a hateful suggestion.

At least, I hope they would. The Republicans here seem to be committed to dashing my hopes for a sane, decent Republican Party. But I stopped seeing this group as representative of most Republicans long ago.

      • Chris says:

More relevantly, I have (in previous conversations) cited the opinions of numerous Republicans who have said they will never vote for Trump, and will vote Hilary Clinton if necessary to stop him from gaining power. I have also cited polls showing he is the most disliked politician in decades, and the most disliked person running. The amount of Republicans who have said they will not vote for this nominee is unprecedented; never has there been such a large number of people saying they will not vote for their party’s nominee.

I know you don’t care what I think. You may want to start caring about what the majority of Republicans think.

Trump can’t win. Hitch your wagon to him, and you lose too.

  22. Tina says:

    Thanks for sharing Chris.

  23. Tina says:

Well guys I’ll be out for awhile…more surgery, but this time it’s outpatient.

You guys play nice, K, I’ll get back ASAP.

  24. Chuck Ness says:

Like you give a deal what is good for the Republican Party Chris

You care as much abI do for what’s good for the Democrat Party

    What a bunch of puke

    • Chris says:

But I do care, Chuck, because unlike you, I’m motivated by more than tribalism. The Republican party collapsing in on itself isn’t good for our country, nor is one-party rule.

This is why I was hoping Cruz would win the primary, even if he has a higher chance of beating Clinton than Trump does. I’d rather lose to a competent, non-crazy person with ideals that I disagree with than win against a clown who has no ideals.

      • Chuck Ness says:

Unlike many, I do not have such a fear of Trump that I think the world will collapse if he were elected.

He is not a Fascist. If anyone is a fascist it is Obama with the way he signs executive orders like their autographs for his fans, and the way he runs around accusing others of doing exactly what he and the democrats do.

He is not a racist. If anyone is, it is Obama.

He is not a womanizer nor a sexist. That role has been sufficiently filled by Hillary’s misogynist husband Bill.

He will not sell America down the drain to foreign investors and leaders. That is what Obama and Hillary have already done.

I have more on the subject, but time keeps me from writing more. However, seeings how much you and other liberals are so afraid of him makes it easier for me to support him in the general election.

If for no other reason than to see your heads spin and explode the day he takes office.

        • Chris says:

As usual, you have no clue what you’re talking about. Obama has issued less executive orders than any president since the 1880s.

          http://www.charlotteobserver.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/o-pinion/article53494490.html

The “executive order” canard is one of the dumbest, most historically ignorant arguments conservatives have. Of course you would make it.

Clinton has been accused of misogyny. Trump is on record calling women he doesn’t like fat pigs, insulting the appearance of Heidi Cruz and Carly Fiorina, telling a contestant on The Apprentice she would look better on her knees, accusing Megyn Kelly of asking a question about sexism because she was on her period, and so on. If Bill is as much a misogynist as Trump, it hasn’t been proven.

I am not afraid of Trump. He is the most unpopular candidate in decades, and will never win a general election. I am afraid of his followers, such as yourself, having any kind of influence on our political system in the future.

          • Pie Guevara says:

Re : “Obama has issued less executive orders than any president since the 1880s.”

First : Because you state it, that is likely a bald faced lie.

Second : It is the executive order violations of Constitution and bypassing laws and mandates passed by Congress, not the quantity of executive orders, doofus.

Re: “I am afraid of his (Trump’s) followers.”

            Go hide under your bed.

Re: “Clinton has been accused of misogyny.”

He has been accused for a lot more serious than that, you serial rapist and pedophiliac defender.

          • Chris says:

Pie, honest question: do you really believe Bill Clinton is a serial rapist and pedophile? Or are you just saying that because you know you can use it as a political tool?

  25. Chris says:

So Trump used to pretend to be his own publicist, and is now lying about it even though he once admitted it in court.

This has GOT to be what sinks him, right? His followers don’t care that he’s a bigot and a bully because they see him as a “winner,” an alpha male, and they’re too stupid to see the difference between talking tough and actual strength and charisma, which Trump doesn’t possess. But this is the conduct of a pathetic loser. This is a kid taking a mop to prom and claiming it’s the head cheerleader, and when called out on it, says “This is the first if ever heard of a mop, and it doesn’t even look like a mop.”

Can he be done now? Please?

    • Pie Guevara says:

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Chris doesn’t like Trump. We get it. Can he be done now, puhleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese?

      • Chris says:

        Pie: “blah, blah, blah…”

Didn’t your mother ever teach you that if you have nothing to add to a conversation, don’t say anything at all? I brought up a recent news item and then gave an opinion on it–an opinion you don’t even disagree with!–and you felt the need to respond with empty, unprovoked insults. What is wrong with you? What compels you to act this way?

        Get help.
