DNC Email Leak: Sanders Demands Accountability; D. W. Schultz “Quarantined”

UPDATE: The Cheek of that woman, Hillary Clinton! She just announced Debbie Wassermann Shultz will join her team as “honorary chair”!

You’ve probably heard the DNC is “accusing” Russian hackers of leaking the emails they hacked to help get Trump elected. I find it amusing that they haven’t considered that the rest of the world really really doesn’t want another four years like the last eight. Even Pooty Poot, who struck those uranium deals with the Clintons, would probably be happy to see her lose…he already has what he wanted.

Anyhoo, old Bernie is none too happy about the content of those emails and he’s demanded that someone be held accountable. As Liberals often do, someone had to be thrown under the bus and Debbie Wassermann Schultz is the chosen one. She’s been banned from speaking or leading the convention that begins tomorrow… “she’s been quarantined,” according to early reports.

AP reports that Schultz has tendered her resignation but will open and close the convention and “address delegates.”

In a statement, Wasserman Schultz said she will step down at the end of the four-day convention. She said she plans to formally open and close the convention, as well as address delegates.

Marcia Fudge will replace Wassermann Schultz. (Fudge? Isn’t that what the Democrats did to block Bernie? Life and it’s little ironies.)

The FOX News reports today that new emails reveal Shultz’s personal contempt for Bernie:

In one, she practically laughed off Sanders after he vowed to replace her as DNC chairwoman if elected.

“This is a silly story. He isn’t going to be president,” she wrote in the May 21 email.

Old Bernie gets the last laugh, though, one way or the other. He will be a featured speaker…and I’ll lay odds he will outshine Hillary.

I’m interested in what the Bernie supporters will do now. They sure don’t sound happy! I notice there isn’t much in the written press today about them…

Tina: “Even Pooty Poot, who struck those uranium deals with the Clintons,”

    False.

“would probably be happy to see her lose…”

Of course he does. Why would Putin want an experienced, qualified professional with experience in dealing with foreign policy as president when he could have an incompetent moron who didn’t know what Brexit was a week before it happened, who says he won’t support our allies in NATO if they are attacked, who would sabotage our country with ethnic discrimination, who praises dictators such as himself, and who would make a complete boob of himself in public every single day?

    • Tina says:

“an experienced, qualified professional with experience in dealing with foreign policy”

The only thing she is experienced at is lying, making underhanded deals, and F-Ups!. The world is a mess and she’s largely responsible both on her own “secret” dealings and as part of the failed Obama administration and its lousy policies.

Speaking of… “who praises dictators such as himself, and who would make a complete boob of himself in public every single day?”

Now that’s disturbing Harold. But it appears to have been taken out of context.

A transcript of remarks made in 2014 include those made in the video:

Throughout human history, societies have grappled with fundamental questions of how to organize themselves, the proper relationship between the individual and the state, the best means to resolve inevitable conflicts between states. And it was here in Europe, through centuries of struggle — through war and Enlightenment, repression and revolution — that a particular set of ideals began to emerge: The belief that through conscience and free will, each of us has the right to live as we choose. The belief that power is derived from the consent of the governed, and that laws and institutions should be established to protect that understanding. And those ideas eventually inspired a band of colonialists across an ocean, and they wrote them into the founding documents that still guide America today, including the simple truth that all men — and women — are created equal.

But those ideals have also been tested — here in Europe and around the world. Those ideals have often been threatened by an older, more traditional view of power. This alternative vision argues that ordinary men and women are too small-minded to govern their own affairs, that order and progress can only come when individuals surrender their rights to an all-powerful sovereign. Often, this alternative vision roots itself in the notion that by virtue of race or faith or ethnicity, some are inherently superior to others, and that individual identity must be defined by “us” versus “them,” or that national greatness must flow not by what a people stand for, but by what they are against.

In many ways, the history of Europe in the 20th century represented the ongoing clash of these two sets of ideas, both within nations and among nations. The advance of industry and technology outpaced our ability to resolve our differences peacefully, and even among the most civilized of societies, on the surface we saw a descent into barbarism.

The sad thing from my point of view is that the soaring words spoken by Obama are not reflected in his actions and policies which are all about picking winners and losers from his position as central planner and dividing the nation on lines of race, class, and gender, using the power of his position to control and manage individual affairs. Obviously his early training prevents him from getting the clarity of the Constitution regarding individual rights (And responsibilities) and power being vested in the people.

Your research was better than mine, as you state the link is a cobbled piece and not as you reveal in complete context, and as such should be removed from PS.

It was intended as more of a jab at the socialist movement driving the Liberals today, However Obama ” the orator” did find a way to express what I believe to be his core thinking into that speech.

  3. J. Soden says:

Debbie is the fall gal/guy. At this writing, she’s still scheduled to open and close the convention and resign as DNC chair after the convention.
Can you imagine the Boos you’ll hear from the Sanders supporters should Deb take the stage? Would be even messier than the results of the Cruz speech!
And Donna Brazile – also caught with her emails down – is gonna be a “temporary” DNC chairman.
If nothing else, this demonstrated that the $hrilLIARy “fix was in” and bolsters the argument for an outsider like TheDonald. Couldn’t have come at a more opportune time!
‘Scuse me – gotta go make some popcorn to watch the Demwit show!

  4. Libby says:

Good, good. Hils’s first executive decision, if an informal one. Wendy was behind the Nevada fiasco as well. She and Hils may be buds, but she’s got to go.

  5. More Common Sense says:

It’s interesting to me that, due to her activities exposed by the emails, DWS is poison and having her part of her campaign would cause more of that poison to rub off on her, yet Hillary makes her an “honorary chair” of her campaign. Is this just another of Hillary’s poor decisions or she doing this to keep DWS silent? Maybe it’s critically important to keep DWS close to her because of what DWS knows! Could it be that Hillary is being blackmailed?

  6. Tina says:

With Hillary all things are on the table. Little Debbie has been a loyal anti-Trump/anti-Republican mouthpiece. Like Anthony Weiner she grabs the microphone and refuses to relent or pause, talking through any questions or objections. She was rewarded for that tenacious attack dog style with the honorary position in the campaign and I’m sure will be highly compensated, perhaps a position later on staff at the Clinton’s foundation?

  7. Harold says:

Oh great! , Wendy’s, Little Debbie, and the clowngress (McD’s). It is going to be hard to enjoy any of those ever again.
