On Oscar Night the Trumps Hosted the Governors

Posted by Tina

While the stars were celebrating themselves and seeing which would give the most despicable political speech of the evening our new president and first lady hosted our nation’s governors at a ball held in their honor. After months of being shunned by celebrities the first couple and their guests enjoyed an evenings entertainment provided by our military. See the story, with more photo’s in the Independent Journal Review, “While Hollywood Gave Awards to Make-Believe Heroes, Trump Was at Governor’s Ball… Honoring Actual Ones.”

I hope this is a trend that continues…who needs celebrities when talented people can be found in alternative places…like our military. I also hope the Oscars goes back to being a private dinner in Hollywood. seems they may be well on their way since this years audience on television was down significantly, “Oscar Ratings Down Double Digits In Demo; 32.9M Viewership Hits 9-Year Low.”

Remember when actors and actresses had the good sense to be humble and classy at the awards? Most of America tuned in to see the Oscars then.

Our First Lady could show this new crop of actors a thing or two about humility and class.

Since Tehran is such known center for forward thinking & celebrating diversity, next year’s Oscar fiasco could be held there.
Just think – all those Hollyweird ladies could be dressed in the latest designer burkas!

You guys are very weird. I mean, this makes no sense, on any level, at all.

Why … I’m wondering … Tehran … of all places? Could it be that you have on your mind that sad piece of work in Kansas? … who thought he was murdering Iranians, when he was actually murdering Indians?

I fail to see how this drivel lightens the situation … in any way … at all. What are you … actually … trying to say? Do you know?

Why do you even care? How about live and let live?

Why do you want to tell everyone what to do? Think?
