Schummer “Stumped” in MSNBC Interview

Posted by Tina

Chuck Schummer (Dem NY) found himself in an uncomfortable position in an interview with Kasie Hunt on MSNBC:

Kasie Hunt: “I would like one very short answer to this question. Who in the Democratic party can beat President Trump in 2020?”

Schumer: “Lots of people.”

Hunt: “One name?”

Schumer: “Not gonna pick a name, but if he continues-

Hunt: “Who’s the leader of the Democratic party? You?”

Schumer: “Well we have a bunch of leaders. You know, I certainly am the leader of the Senate and I try to help represent the Democratic party.”

Leaders leaders everywhere and not one that stands out?

We keep hearing about the “first 100 days” from media presstitutes. Here’s an interesting take on that:

    Worth a read.

Here’s another really good article by Andrew McCarthy at Nation Review. A little long, but worth the time, even for liberals.

Revealed: Eleventh-hour Subpoenas in the Clinton E-mails Investigation:

“Why the Obama Justice Department avoided the grand jury . . . until it had no choice”

Am reminded of the 1963 Outer Limits TV show introduction:
“There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to – The Outer Limits”.

But now it’s 2017, and the Demwits are attempting that control!

  4. TruthToPower says:

    Actually that is on point.

The Bottom Lie is the DNC has shown they rather loose an election than show support for any candidate other than the chosen establishment candidate. This is on display right now in smaller elections such as Kansas.

Realize tens of millions in this country distrust both parties.

We are coming for bad corporate Dems and Reps who work solely for the Donor lobbies.

MSNBC is no different than Fox. They are political party PR Firms.

The DNC Superdelegates? DNC admits they were created to stop any grassroots candidate from ever winning.

It is MSNBC that pushes this false narrative that H lost because of Russia.

Fact is Trumps Interstate Crosscheck cheated better than Hillary’s games.

Do you see either party addressing the documented election cheats?

    No…..

  5. Peggy says:

A study finally figured out why Hillary lost. And it makes NO mention of the Russians. LOL

Democrats say they now know exactly why Clinton lost:

“WASHINGTON — A group of top Democratic Party strategists have used new data about last year’s presidential election to reach a startling conclusion about why Hillary Clinton lost. Now they just need to persuade the rest of the party they’re right.
Many Democrats have a shorthand explanation for Clinton’s defeat: Her base didn’t turn out, Donald Trump’s did and the difference was too much to overcome.

But new information shows that Clinton had a much bigger problem with voters who had supported President Barack Obama in 2012 but backed Trump four years later.

Those Obama-Trump voters effectively accounted for more than two-thirds of the reason Clinton lost, according to Matt Canter, a senior vice president of the Democratic political firm Global Strategy Group. In his group’s analysis, about 70 percent of Clinton’s failure to reach Obama’s vote total in 2012 was because she lost these voters.”
