Did Panic explode within the DNC on Saturday? Could be. “Anonymous” has alleged that “high-ranking current and former Democratic Party officials are terrified of the Seth Rich murder investigation. These allegations follow an announcement by someone going by the handle Kim Dotcom (left in photo next to Rich) tweeted that he knew Seth Rich and that he knew Seth was the Wikileaks source for leaked DNC emails because he was involved.

I have to admit the twitter bites sound a little Deweyish to me. But that doesn’t make the murder less provocative or disturbing. Those of us that followed the Bill Clinton years are not at all unfamiliar with the multiple suspicious deaths that occurred during that corrupt period. We will continue to watch this as it unfolds.

Wikileaks has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to conviction.
There is nothing fake about the mysterious death. There is nothing fake about the nutty idea that “robbery” was the motive when his wallet, phone, etc were not taken. The FBI is investigating (or was). The emails apparently exist. His laptop has been taken into evidence.
Why are you so eager to blithely dismiss an unsolved case?
Would you be as eager if Seth were a Republican?
Is it possible, if not probable, that Seth was murdered because he knew something and being an honest person was going to the FBI?
The parents’ spokesman’s statement speaks for itself. The conspiracy theories about WikiLeaks are not helping the family find their son’s killer, it is only distracting from the investigation and causing them further pain.
I understand their difficult situation and the pain involved for the parents. They certainly didn’t ask for this.
There are larger issues at stake. Justice, and draining the swamp, is at the heart of it. Partisan politics has nothing to do with it.
Unfortunately, this couple’s son may be a murder victim in a political scandal. He may have been trying to do what any honest, responsible citizen would do. Would you really want civic pressure to get to the bottom of it stopped? Should we, as citizens, adopt a who cares attitude?
With all due respect interest and media pressure does help investigators get to the truth, especially in a case surrounded by political intrigue. Washington DC is a spot in our nation that needs a good cleaning.

I know that Seth Rich was involved in the DNC leak.
I know this because in late 2014 a person contacted me about helping me to start a branch of the Internet Party in the United States. He called himself Panda. I now know that Panda was Seth Rich.
Panda advised me that he was working on voter analytics tools and other technologies that the Internet Party may find helpful.
I communicated with Panda on a number of topics including corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics.

I was referring to what I knew when I did an interview with Bloomberg in New Zealand in May 2015. In that interview I hinted that Julian Assange and Wikileaks would release information about Hillary Clinton in the upcoming election.
The Rich family has reached out to me to ask that I be sensitive to their loss in my public comments. That request is entirely reasonable.
I have consulted with my lawyers. I accept that my full statement should be provided to the authorities and I am prepared to do that so that there can be a full investigation. My lawyers will speak with the authorities regarding the proper process.
If my evidence is required to be given in the United States I would be prepared to do so if appropriate arrangements are made. I would need a guarantee from Special Counsel Mueller, on behalf of the United States, of safe passage from New Zealand to the United States and back.
