Yiannopoulos Fan Suing on First Amendment Grounds

Posted by Tina

They came to hear what Milo Yiannopoulos had to say at Berkley in February but they were forced to leave the auditorium when protests turned violent and the event was cancelled. This single event served as the final intolerable affront for a fan that says his rights have been violated repeatedly on the Berkley campus. The fan has now filed a lawsuit on first Amendment grounds:

“The suit, filed in federal court in California on Monday alleges that the defendants ‘have subjected UC Berkeley students and invitees who do not subscribe to the radical, left wing philosophies sanctioned by Defendants to severe violence and bodily harm for merely expressing a differing viewpoint, in clear contravention of their rights under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,'” reported SF Gate on Tuesday. “In addition to the UC Berkeley Regents, the suit’s many defendants include UC president Janet Napolitano, the UC Berkeley police department, the Berkeley police department, frequent conservative target George Soros and California representative Nancy Pelosi.”

The suit asks for $23 million, a sum that certainly demonstrates the seriousness of the charge.

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.

The group called BAMN, By Any Means Necessary, reveled in the success of the February protest. I hope they are included as defendants in the suit.

Milo Yiannopoulos is planning a week long event in future featuring several conservative speakers.

Good for him!!!

LOL Agitators were hired to create violence there, anybody ever really get proof who hired them?

free Speech ? LOL Seems to me that everybody had the right to speak there,

    This is just getting stupid

  2. Tina says:

George Soros is named in the lawsuit. Lawyers don’t name persons unless they have evidence of a link and culpability.

Everybody had a right to speak? Well they had a right but the right was denied…so your assertion is crap.

The only thing that’s stupid are the tools who buy into the far left radical agitation game. Might you be one of those?
