House: Homeland Security Spending Bill Includes $$ for The Wall

Posted by Tina

A proposed homeland security spending bill in the House includes $1.8 billion to begin the construction of The Wall in 2018 (32 miles of new border fencing in Texas, 28 miles of levee on the Rio Grande, and 14 miles of replacement fence in San Diego). The bill also includes money for 500 new Border Patrol agents, 1,000 additional agents and officers for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and enough money to maintain 44,000 detention beds. The bill also covers expenses to train local police and sheriff’s deputies in two dozen new jurisdictions.

House Democrats vow to fight it tooth and nail, no surprise there.

Rep. John Carter, R-Texas and chairman of the House homeland security appropriations subcommittee, said of the bill, “Keeping Americans safe by protecting our homeland is a top priority.”

Oh, goody. I’ve always wanted to be the sort of state that runs gulags … private prison gulags at that:

And doesn’t this make you proud?

      Gulag?

The comparison is over the top stupid and lacking in respect for people who truly suffered and died.

Always yanking the guilt rope, too.

Sorry. I am not the one guilty of entering the country illegally. Actions have consequences…it was their choice. If people want to pitch a fit and go hungry who am I to stop them? That too is their choice.

Pay for The Wall with fund$ removed from Planned Harvesthood and welfare recipients. If more $$ needed, a tax on all $$ transfers from US to Mexico.

Look what happens when people believe our laws will be enforced.

Hundreds of Colorado Voters Withdraw Registrations in Wake of Trump-ordered Probe of Fraudulent Voting:

“Numerous states have said they won’t comply with the request for voter registrations, which include the last four digits of Social Security numbers and other identifying information,” the Washington Examiner reported, citing a CNN report that claimed 44 states have refused to comply with the request by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who is the vice chairman of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity.

Kobach disputed that number on Wednesday, saying only 14 states and the District of Columbia have refused.”
