DC Whispers apparently prides itself on getting the latest scoop in our nation’s capitol. Whether we can trust the rumor mill in the heart of the swamp I do not know. Still, we are willing to consider all possibilities since, in our long history, we have witnessed a bucket load of unbelievable things coming out of DC. Could WWII vets have imagined their kids in the streets, looking like dirt bags, carrying hateful anti-American signs? Could anyone in America have imagined a president making such unusual use of a cigar? Was anyone from the civil rights era ready for the rise of racial division and strife under a black president after all we had fought for and won?
But I digress. The assertion (rumor?) I speak of today is that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, “…was a primary source of the anti-Roy Moore stories that are now attempting to sway the upcoming Alabama special election and help clear the path for a Trump impeachment attempt in 2018.” Political activist Ned Ryan is the source of this information posted over at DC Whispers.
As for Roy Moore and his constituents, they are not backing out of the race. The leader in the race is unknown given recent polls, here or here. One thing is clear, outsiders in both parties are attempting to influence the vote in Alabama. The quest for power and control continues.
IMHO, Alabamans should decide who they want to represent them. Others should stay out of it.
It’s “we the people,” stupid, not we the representatives! We’re tired of the games, guys.

It’s plausible when you add in McCain’s weird behavior of voting no on the repeal/replace ObamaCare causing it to fail and his involvement with giving the “dossier” to the FBI. Both targeted Trump by making him look bad and stopped him from fulfilling a campaign promise.
The swamp has members of both parties who would work together to get rid of Trump. Impeachment in 2018 by turning control of the House over to the democrats would be the easiest and fastest instead of waiting until 2020 when he could win again.
None of the congressional leaders care about the people they are supposed to represent. Their only concern is their power, control and the amount of money they can stuff their pockets with since they’re not held to the same insider financial knowledge restrictions they are privy to in the various committees they serve on, as those in the private sector.
Agree, Alabamans should decide who they want to send to DC. After all we’ve sent Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer there for decades and now we have Harris, another real wacko bird.

This gov is a web of old school ratlines and corruption and these parties are donor ran corporations that run the gov for their profits. The news media is a PR Machine for the parties.
We have a Battle of the donors going on for ultimate control.
Now that we have the Clinton ring running scared and ducking the Koch, Mercer, and addelson types are running to control it.
In the end the people loose – all of us. We are about to crash and burn.
WHy did George Soros short MGM Stock? Why did Adelson and the CEO of MGM sell off most stock to buy it back cheaper after the shooting? All 3 at the same time?
