FBI Agent Fired from Mueller Probe

Posted by Tina

A “top FBI agent” that worked on the Hillary email scandal investigation and served on the Mueller team looking into Russian interference into the election has been fired. Apparently agent Peter Strzok has been engaging in derogatory, anti-Trump texting for some time. He’s one of the partisan swamp creatures that shielded Hillary Clinton in the email/server scandal and would love to sink President Trump.

It’s about time partisan “servants of the people” were tossed out. The law should be the ONLY thing that guides their investigations.

Sure would like to see those messages made public . . . .
And why has this been kept so hush-hush by the FBI and Mueller?
    Partisanship, anyone?

    • Tina says:

If life were fair (it is not) the reason would be that the messages are evidence in an ongoing investigation.

CNN (if it can be trusted) reported this news last January:

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog announced Thursday it has launched a probe into the department and the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
The announcement, which was expected, comes after criticism of the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation, particularly on how the public was notified about the controversy, which was a major issue on the 2016 campaign trail.

The agent under Mueller that was fired yesterday was also involved in the Hillary server probe. His messages to a friend show obvious anti-Trump bias tainting his role.

It could be that those investigating the investigators have vowed there will be no leaks. Transparency will come when the case is made and that’s how it should be. Leaking tries a case in the court of public opinion where the spinmeisters can work their magic. If we want justice we’ll just have to be patient.

That’s my best case scenario for all it’s worth.

It’s good that he was fired. Any investigation should be as unbiased as possible.

    • Tina says:

The firing was appropriate for sure.

But that’s not the end of his story. He was involved in the team that led to Comey spelling out clear evidence to pursue justice in the Hillary server scandal and then letting her slide. (Comey who changed words in his “no” recommendation, “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless,” to avoid the letter of the law and to justify his decision). He was involved in the fake dossier. It sure looks like he’s on the partisan anti-Trump impeachment team…that’s not in his job description. It’s suspect that ALL of the investigators are aligned with the left and their agenda.

So much of this represents a shameful miscarriage of justice. So sad for our country.

The people lose regardless of party as the rule of law is corrupted.

    Just released.
EXCLUSIVE: FBI Supervisor BOOTED from Mueller Probe INTERVIEWED Mike Flynn:

“The former U.S. intelligence official told this reporter, “with the recent revelation that Strzok was removed from the Special Counsel investigation for making anti-Trump text messages it seems likely that the accuracy and veracity of the 302 of Flynn’s interview as a whole should be reviewed and called into question.”

“The most logical thing to happen would be to call the other FBI Special Agent present during Flynn’s interview before the Grand Jury to recount his version,” the former intelligence official added.

The former official also said that “Strzok’s allegiance to (Deputy Director Andrew) McCabe was unwavering and very well known.”

Flynn, a retired three-star general, issued a statement on Dec. 1, saying, “it has been extraordinarily painful to endure these many months of false accusations of “treason” and other outrageous acts. Such false accusations are contrary to everything I have ever done and stood for. But I recognize that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and, through my faith in God, I am working to set things right.”

According to another source, with direct knowledge of the Jan. 24 interview, McCabe had contacted Flynn by phone directly at the White House. White House officials had spent the “earlier part of the week with the FBI overseeing training and security measures associated with their new roles so it was no surprise to Flynn that McCabe had called,” the source said.

McCabe told Flynn “some agents were heading over (to the White House) but Flynn thought it was part of the routine work the FBI had been doing and said they would be cleared at the gate,” the source said.

“It wasn’t until after they were already in (Flynn’s) office that he realized he was being formerly interviewed. He didn’t have an attorney with him,” they added.”

    The plot thickens…Conservative Treehouse:

OK, before going further, we need to step back and take a look at how deeply enmeshed Deputy Head of Counterintelligence FBI Agent Peter Strzok was to this entire FBI investigative enterprise.

•Peter Strzok was the lead FBI agent in charge of the Hillary Clinton email investigation. •Agent Peter Strzok was one of a small group who interviewed Hillary Clinton. •Agent Strzok was also the FBI contact person to receive the Russian Dossier and interview the author Christopher Steele. [Remember, Hillary Clinton’s team paid Christopher Steele (via Fusion GPS) to create the dossier.] •Agent Strzok was the primary counterintelligence investigator for the ‘vast Russian conspiracy’, narrative. •Agent Strzok was then hired by Robert Mueller to lead the FBI investigative efforts into the “Russian Election Collusion/Conspiracy.” •Agent Strzok was removed from the Mueller Team after the anti-Trump/pro-Clinton content of his internal communications were discovered by the current Inspector General investigation…and today we discover that Deputy Head of Counterintelligence, FBI Agent Peter Strzok was the person who interviewed National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn on January 24th, 2017. An interview, that blindsided Flynn because there was no advanced notification…. And an interview that was the basis for the recent Robert Mueller charging of Flynn. (continues)

    Just a little reminder…Daily Caller:

The FBI agent who was fired from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation team for sending anti-Donald Trump text messages conducted the interviews with two Hillary Clinton aides accused of giving false statements about what they knew of the former secretary of state’s private email server.

Neither of the Clinton associates, Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, faced legal consequences for their misleading statements, which they made in interviews last year with former FBI section chief Peter Strzok.

    Stink rises.

  6. Peggy says:

Dang, he was also the agent who interviewed Hillary’s aides Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin.

MORE Peter Strzok bias – he let Cheryl Mills AND Huma Abedin off the hook!!:

“The FBI agent who was fired from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation team for sending anti-Donald Trump text messages conducted the interviews with two Hillary Clinton aides accused of giving false statements about what they knew of the former secretary of state’s private email server.

Neither of the Clinton associates, Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, faced legal consequences for their misleading statements, which they made in interviews last year with former FBI section chief Peter Strzok.

They report that Comey brushed off the inconsistencies in their testimony, which is odd because they didn’t do that to Flynn.

The starkly different outcomes from Strzok’s interviews — a felony charge against Flynn and a free pass to Mills and Abedin — are sure to raise questions from Republicans about double-standards in the FBI’s two most prominent political investigations. FBI Director Christopher Wray will likely be pressed on the Strzok scandal on Thursday when he attends an oversight hearing before the House Judiciary Committee.

Mills and Abedin both told Strzok they didn’t know about Hillary’s private server until after it was revealed to the public, but emails show them both discussing Hillary’s server…”
