Kudo’s to Chico PD

by Jack

Dec 22nd 2017 – Chico, CA. Yesterday it was announced that 11 arrests were made as part of a special ops sting operation to curb rising thefts from vehicles in the downtown area. This was mostly focused on vehicles inside the 3 story parking garage next to the Hotel Diamond. The charges ranged from vehicle tampering, vehicle burglary, grand theft to possession of stolen property.

Nice job Chico police! Well earned kudos! Also arrested was a thief dubbed the Christmas Grinch. He was a 42 year old man featured on Nextdoor.com as the thief caught in the act of steal Christmas lighting by a hidden camera. Once his picture was posted it was just a matter of time before the police caught up with him. This is a great example of what happens when citizens step up and help police. Now if we could only get folks in the residential areas to start placing the cheap silent alarms in their vehicles, as previously explained on Post Scripts, we might really make a dent in crime. This is a great start, but it is by no means over. Given the rash of package thefts from porches and recent thefts from cars in residential areas, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

There’s a guy in Phoenix who has had some success discouraging “porch pirates.” He places a box on his front porch and when the pirate arrives and picks up the package, a loud “bang” happens and the box jumps in the air.
The pirate is next seen on the security camera running from the area. Pretty cool!

New reports shows Obama and his administration were once again lying to us. I’ll bet a lot of these porch item thefts and car break-ins are done by illegals who are on their way from petty crimes to felonies.

Trump Administration Releases Final 2017 Report on Incarcerated Illegal Immigrants, Here’s What It Found:

“More than 1 in 5 of all federal inmates in the U.S. Bureau of Prisons are immigrants, as of the end of the fiscal year 2017, a federal report released Thursday said.

The report also found that 94 percent of confirmed foreign-born inmates in federal incarceration were in the country illegally.

The Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security issued their final quarterly report for 2017 measuring progress since a January executive order by President Donald Trump to crack down on illegal immigration.

The report also found that about two-thirds of all immigrants in the custody of U.S. Marshals Service were in the United States illegally.”
