Page and Strzok “Media Leak Strategy” Exposed

Posted by Tina

Another batch of emails and documents, released by the Justice Department, further suggest a plot from within the FBI and DOJ and in collusion with certain journalists to undermine Trump prior to the election and destroy his presidency after his election. See letter from Rep. Mark Meadows to DAG Rod Rosenstein posted by Sara Carter. Carter, who’s actually been committing the traditional journalistic practice of investigation, reports:

A number of new text messages reveal that two former FBI lovers appeared to have close communication with members of the media and attempted to frame arguments about Russian interference several months before the 2016 presidential election, according to text messages obtained by SaraACarter.com. The revelations raise “serious concerns” with lawmakers, who question the pairs motives, as well as the bureau’s investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump’s campaign.

Former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his paramour former FBI attorney Lisa Page exchanged text messages several months before the 2016 election that suggest the pair were writing an op-ed together and that the FBI seemingly “authorized” a Washington Post story on potential Russian interference during the November elections.

On Sept. 2, 2016, Page texts Strzok about writing an op-ed: “Got it. But we are still writing the op-ed, yes?”

Strzok replies, “Yes, ish. He said too much data would be good to identify the key pieces of data and frame it in an argument, but not to spend ‘too much time on the opening or closing.’ I told him we were too much of perfectionists to not do all of it.”

On September 5, 2016, Page sends Strzok a link to the Washington Post article titled, U.S. investigating potential covert Russian plan to disrupt November elections.

Strzok replies, “This is the one (redacted) was talking about I think.”

Page then says, “Yup. It is very well sourced. 100% authorized.”

Strzok then tells Page, “Just read the article. We say a lot of the same things. I guess that’s O.K.”

Page writes back “Yeah, but that’s why ours is going to need to be more folksy. So it’s not like a news article.”

The Washington Post story refers to the Harry Reid briefing, stating, “After Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-NV) ended a secure 30-minute phone briefing given by a top intelligence official recently, he was “deeply shaken,” according to an aide who was with Reid when he left the secure room at the FBI’s Las Vegas office.”

Strzok also suggested in a text to Page on the same day, “I have really no faith the administration will deal with it effectively,” regarding the administration officials cited in the story that said they were still weighing their response to Russia.

However, the texts between the two do not disclose what article they were writing, or for whom they were writing the opinion piece, or if it was ever published. Congressional officials say the onslaught of text messages between the two reveal troubling signs that the FBI was running a partisan and biased investigation.

If an unverified, unsubstantiated and salacious dossier can induce an 18 month plus investigation in search of a crime I’d say this information, which suggests criminal activity, should warrant a full investigation. The American people should have confidence in it’s law enforcement agencies. This unprofessional and likely criminal activity cannot be tolerated.

Apparently the same strategy was used to push Obama’s Iran Deal. See article at Real Clear Investigations:

The Obama administration, according to Obama himself, was the most transparent in history. Total bunk. The administration was secretive and criminal. Un-elected government employees, acting as operatives, continue to serve the same partisan cause within the government today and they’ve gotten away with it because irresponsible journalists and news outlets practice partisan activism rather than journalism.

    Precisely.

    • Tina says:

Should have said, “…they’ve gotten away with it, so far…”.

I think at least some of these people will see jail time. They should. It’s a crime to leak to the press, especially during an investigation. They really do see themselves as little gods, it would appear.

  2. Libby says:

    Uh-huh.

Did you see the PHOTOGRAPH of “Mister Fist-Bump” on his way to the 9/11 commemoration? No conspiratorial nothing required to sink this administration.

Even more damning … near all the dirt-dishing in Woodward’s latest opus comes from The Donald’s own staff … his own lawyers. As The Trumpster himself would say … sad.

    • Tina says:

Sad is right. Sad since it’s pure fiction. Sad that a once renowned author would pen such garbage…it’s been debunked by those he claims gave him statements. Mattis and Kelly say they are insulted. Sad that you’re still so gullible or partisan and believe such crap. Sad all around.

You guys are a low bunch.

    • Tina says:

Okay. I’ve seen the fist bump…what’s the big deal? He’s at the airport, not the memorial site, and people who love him were there to greet him with cheers. The bump was for them.

You would maybe expect him to return their greeting with a sullen face?

      Mamma mia!

      • J. Soden says:

Am really beginning to feel sorry for Libby. After all, who in their right mind could continue to produce such twisted drivel over time with so little real facts?

      • Libby says:

“Okay. I’ve seen the fist bump…what’s the big deal?”

All this time, I’ve been perplexed. Who would WANT a BOOR in the White House?

I have my answer … other people of similar sensibilities would want a boor in the White House.

A BOOR in the White House. I thought we tried that already–some guy from Arkansas.

        • Tina says:

“Who would WANT a BOOR in the White House?”

Ill accept for now your characterization of Trump a la his Tweets with the caveat that the boors who insult and demean him, his family, his administration, and supporters via twitter are much worse.

The answer to your question is EASY!!!

          1. Anyone who thought the alternative would amount to putting a criminal in the WH…we had 2 choices when all was said ad done.

          2. Anyone who lost a job, had trouble finding a good job, lost a business or had to let good people go over eight years.

          3. Anyone who lost their employer provided insurance, ended up paying a lot more for health insurance, lost their insurance provider, were dumped into MCal or MCade, couldn’t use the new insurance due to high deductables, were forced to pay a fine, or lost their doctor.

          4. Doctors who chose to retire rather than work under the new government regulations that caused massive amounts of paperwork and legal advice.

          5. Anyone turned off by the IRS targeting conservatives.

          6. Anyone upset by Benghazi…the unnecessary deaths, lack of adequate security, lack of quick response to save people, bad planning before during and after, and the LIES told to cover up the scandolous mess.

          7. Anyone upset by the border situation, the conflating of legal and illegal entry, sanctuary cities…a general unwillingness to enforce immigration and border laws.

          8. Anyone who abhors the vicious, sometimes fatal, attacks on police officers and border agents.

          9. Anyone who’s had it with unreasonable regulations on businesses, banking or the environment and the weaponization of the EPA.

          10. Anyone disgusted by the behavior of Democrat supporters at Trump rallies and events.

          11. Anyone deeply concerned by the extreme left turn the Democrat Party has taken.

          12. Anyone who just couldn’t stand Hillary Clinton and were turned off by her arrogance, her statement, “basket of deplorables, her seeming deception about the state of her health, her un-serious campaign, what she did to Bernie…that sense of entitlement!

I think 12 good reasons is sufficient for now.

MAGA was a much better message.

          MAGA!!!

    • Tina says:

Ha! Turns out the fist bump was for the military, “Nat’l Guardsman Debunks Trump Fist Pump Fury, Says He Saw Biased Media First Hand”

President Donald Trump delivered a double fist pump as he walked away from Air Force One on Tuesday, en route to a 9/11 memorial ceremony at the Flight 93 crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania — and while a number of critics immediately attacked the move as “disrespectful,” one National Guardsman told The Daily Caller that everything was not exactly as it seemed.

“The POTUS landed at our Johnstown flight facility, a military installation owned by the Reserves and the National Guard,” he said, “and, well, prior to his arrival, we were allowed to gather in this designated area to greet him prior to his boarding a helicopter and flying to the Flight 93 memorial service.” …

… “As he approached us soldiers, marines, and airmen, many were shouting and waving at him. That is when he did the ‘double fist pump’ — he was genuinely happy to say hello and shake hands, and you could tell he was proud to be greeted by ‘his’ military members.”

Your media spins the truth to fit their own narrative, Libby. They deliberately lie. Been doing it for a long long time.

  3. Libby says:

“Sad is right. Sad since it’s pure fiction.”

Do you REALLY think that a couple dozen sources INSIDE the administration are out to get you boy for … what reason exactly? This is not a rational position to take. It’s a paranoid position.

Let’s just take one of the named sources: Dowd. Is his resignation a fiction? Are his stated reasons for resigning a fiction?

I mean, you can use this blog to deny objective reality, but you are not convincing anybody.

    • Tina says:

      “what reason exactly?”

You’ve got to be kidding. You just asked me who would want a “boor” in the WH! Do you think you’re a lone voice?

Your party melted down when they lost…crying and gnashing of teeth. Your candidate couldn’t even deliver her own concession speech. Threats of impeachment before he was installed were made. I’ve never seen so many holier than thou sore losers in my life!

Quite a bit of evidence has piled up that career employees throughout the government are actively working to unseat the President. Your media is tainted and spoiled by it’s allegiance to your party so you are not being told about this.

      “Dowd…”

      CNN:

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump’s lead lawyer, John Dowd, has resigned from the President’s personal legal team handling the response to the Russia investigation.

I love the President and wish him well,” Dowd said in a statement to CNN.

Dowd, who has urged the President to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe and resist attacking him publicly, resigned as his disagreements with Trump intensified and the President stepped up his attacks on the special counsel. His departure raises questions about the direction of Trump’s legal strategy and could signal a more aggressive posture on Trump’s part.

They disagreed on strategy. It happens all the time between lawyers and clients in the big bad world. (Otherwise, the article is filled with speculation and assumptions that tell us nothing real)

“you can use this blog to deny objective reality, but you are not convincing anybody.”

      Really? How do you know?

  4. Peggy says:

These new text were from the six month void of missing text Horowitz disclosed in his report. Hopefully, his continued investigation will be able to recover all or most of them.

The pattern of missing documents connected to the Dems and Hillary dating all of the way back to Whitewater is proof of how corrupt they all are. Lock them all up!

  5. Tina says:

The latest from Judicial Watch, is that deep state actors used unsecured media to transmit sensitive data:

(Washington, DC) — Judicial Watch announced today that it has received 47 pages of records from the Department of Justice, including email exchanges between fired FBI official Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page revealing that FBI officials used unsecure devices in discussing how the U.S. could improve the sharing of sensitive data with the European Union top executive governing commission.

The documents also reveal that high-ranking FBI officials were not properly read-in to top secret programs.

Judicial Watch obtained the documents through a January 2018 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the DOJ failed respond to a December 4, 2017 FOIA request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-00154)). Judicial Watch is seeking:

    All records of communications, including but not limited to, emails, text messages and instant chats, between FBI official Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page;
All travel requests, travel authorizations, travel vouchers and expense reports of Peter Strzok.
All travel requests, travel authorizations, travel vouchers and expense reports of Lisa Page.

The newly obtained emails came in response to a May 21 order by U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton to the FBI to begin processing 13,000 pages of records exchanged exclusively between Strzok and Page between February 1, 2015, and December 2017. The FBI refuses to timely process the records and will not complete review and production of all the Strzok-Page materials until at least 2020.

Corrupt, sloppy and careless…wow what a terrific gang of public servants!
