The Wuhan virus (aka coronavirus) is closely related to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) virus but that is not the only close relationship. It appears that China’s policy dealing with the Wuhan virus is effectively the same policy it adopted during the SARS outbreak.

In 2002 China covered up the existence of SARS from its own people and the outside world. Newspapers were forbidden from reporting the disease outside of occasional statements from government officials assuring the public that there was nothing to worry about. The Chinese cover-up of the SARS virus was costly in terms of human lives and in global standing. With the Wuhan virus it’s deja vu all over again but with a new twist in the form of a trade threat.

The Cover-Up: According to various and sundry reports the Chinese communist government has done the following:

  • The National Health Commission issued a gag order with instructions to destroy the any sample of the virus from sick patients to scientists who first reported the virus to the government.
  • Intentionally withheld information that hospital workers had been infected by patients when representatives from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention visited Wuhan on on January 8th.
  • Suppressed the highly contagious nature of the virus up until January 20th.
  • Arrested citizens for discussing the virus on the internet.
  • Wiped posts on social media from users whose relatives have died after suffering symptoms matching those of  Wuhan virus.
  • Put the largest paper in Wuhan on lockdown after it published stories on the virus outbreak.
  • Detained journalists, including some from Hong Kong, for trying to report on the virus.
  • Confiscated all film and photographs from journalists gathering reportage at a hospital in Wuhan.
  • Detained prominent Chinese legal activist Xu Zhiyong for urging China’s leader, Xi Jinping, to resign and accusing him of a cover-up.
  • Consistently suppresses the actual numbers of infection and death.

China is a closed, totalitarian society and cannot be trusted. The Chinese communists may  pose as being transparent but are anything but.

If the threat of the virus were not bad enough just last week China’s official news service issued a threat by warning that the government may withhold medicines and medical supplies.from the US for our “mistreatment” of them during the outbreak. The United States is extremely dependent on China for medical products. Everything from basic supplies to medical diagnostic equipment, from ingredients to make medicines to the medications themselves to immunization products are produced in China. By one estimate 80% of present medicines consumed in the United States are produced in China and an estimated 95-97% of the world supply of antibiotics comes from China.

Clearly our dependency and the rest of the planet’s dependency on this rogue, closed, aggressive totalitarian communist regime must end.

“America must make rebuilding our domestic supply chain a priority of its own,” wrote Republican Senator Marco Rubio and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich in a collaborative opinion piece on Fox News Wednesday. I agree.

A manufactured virus?
It is an indisputable fact that the coronavirus has been replicated in the laboratory and has been hybridized to be a human contagion. As such there has been this conspiracy theory noise going about the internet that the Wuhan virus was actually manufactured. While there is absolutely no proof to support this theory it is curious to note that the coronavirus appeared in a province where China has its only Bio Safety Level 4 lab. It is in such labs that viruses are studied and altered for research purposes.

It is also curious to note that supposedly two decades ago in a secret speech to high ranking Chinese Communist Party officials Chinese Defense Minister General Chi Haotian explained China’s past programs and long range future plans to develop biological weapons. The speech was reprinted in 2005 by The Epoch Times, an independent Chinese newspaper which is published outside of China and banned in China. General Chi’s speech detailed how China can annihilate the west starting with the United States and including the use of biological weapons. Given China’s long history of distrust and aggression towards the west I have no reason to doubt this speech actually took place.

Lab-Made Coronavirus Triggers Debate

The truth of how the Wuhan virus was contracted by humans may never be known and will probably never be known since it is Communist China where the virus originated.

Meanwhile what are they focusing on in the bizarre world of the “woke” group-think lamestream media? That calling the coronavirus the Wuhan virus or mentioning that it originated in China is… ta da… RACIST AND XENOPHOBIC! It is just unbelievable how pervasive this sort of abject lunacy is in the lamestream. How truly idiotic and irrelevant they have become and this malignancy is seems to be completely irreversible.

The Last Train to Trollsville: Post Scripts’ resident left-wing extremist comment spamming troll finally burned himself out on his Wednesday evening rampage. What a temper tantrum!

The sad thing is that Mr. Troll is completely unaware of what a ridiculous clown he makes of himself with such behavior, evidently thinking it is somehow effective.
