Judge Allegedly Aides in Escape of Illegal Alien from Courtroom

Posted by Jack

A bleeding heart judge let a man charged with narcotic possession with an ICE detainer on him for illegal entry to the US escape through her back door.  This idiot judge ordered the ICE agent out of her court and into the lobby.  Then she allegedly let the suspect sneak out of the court through the judges back door aided by the judges bailiff.   So much for, “nobody being above the law in America” as the democrats are so fond of saying.

Next up in Chico:    Seems to me if you are a homeless bum or an illegal alien you can get away with breaking all kinds of rules and laws without penalty.  But, if you are an American property owner and your rose bushes encroach on the public sidewalk…expect a citation from the code enforcement officer.  Yeah, the very same code enforcement guy that has to step over human poop on the sidewalk and walk around illegal camp sites to get to those nasty rose bushes!  I think this is just sick and I blame it on the liberals who dominate this crazy state.  How much more can the intelligent, rational people of CA take?

Coronavirus – Homeless in CA

by Jack

If you walk into a California urgent care or emergency care facility, you might think you just walked into the epicenter of the bubonic plague.  Medical staff are being hazmatted-up in white suits as a precautionary measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus.  All bay area 1st responders are being issue protective clothing and masks too.

The fear is the virus making its way to one of our larger homeless encampments in places like Los Angeles or San Francisco.  With a 14 day incubation period and the fact the virus can go airborn it could become unstoppable.

The map above show the at risk states already affected by Coronavirus.

With tens of thousands of homeless people living on the streets, Los Angeles officials have increasingly found themselves as the subject of criticism for what many Angelenos see as a failure to keep up with a problem that seems to be getting worse.

But across the country, L.A. isn’t considered to be a failure. To the contrary, at last week’s National Conference on Ending Homelessness in Washington, D.C., attendees repeatedly held up the city, the county and the state as models of political will for getting people into housing.

“I think there’s actually incredibly strong things happening across California,” said Matthew Doherty, executive director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness. “In Los Angeles, there are some of the best permanent supportive housing providers in the country, with some of the most innovative projects, engagement of the public health system directly in the work of homelessness, the city-county partnership… There’s a lot that’s going on there.”

The confab attracted more than 2,000 homeless advocates, outreach workers and many others working in a well air-conditioned hotel to stem the tide of homelessness. They attended sessions that included research on unsheltered people and how to build permanent supportive housing quickly. Some also went to Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress.

Good Trump VS Bad Trump

posted by Jack

I voted for Trump and I will vote for him again, because of his policies, not because of his charming personality.  It is anything but….

At the National Prayer Breakfast, Columnist Arthur Brooks addressed traditional Christian themes during his remarks, urging attendees to “love your enemies” and transcend “contempt.   Then it was Trump’s turn.  He began by telling Brooks he didn’t quite agree with him, which is basically saying he doesn’t quite agree with scripture.

Instead, Trump used the podium to lambast his enemies in the most vindictive way possible.   I’ve never witnessed  a president behave that way, it was unsettling and disturbing.

This was supposed to be a Christian prayer breakfast!  The theme was about Christian values.  This was supposed to be where one talks about redemption, forgiveness and what Christianity has meant to America.  But, Trump turned it into a speech about himself.  He used this platform to insult his enemies and it was a hateful speech.  I was really disappointed, Trump should have shown more class.

Maybe…just maybe…. if enough of his supporters made it known that he really needs to tone it down, let go of his ego-centric behavior, he would be a lot more electable?  I know, he’s probably to old to change now…but, one could hope, right?

Right now Trump is running for re-election virtually unopposed considering the field of democrat opponents.   This election is really coming down to a case between “bad Trump” verses “good Trump.”   If “bad Trump” sways the voters enough… he could lose and I don’t want to see that.

Putting ICE Under a Microscope for Political Purposes

by Jack

The following story was on the national news only because of a salacious title.  In reality police and ICE agents were just doing their job and nothing much happened.  If it were any other time this story would be at best a footnote on page 3 of the local newspaper.

“(Headline) ICE agent, while arresting undocumented immigrant, shoots brother of wanted Brooklyn man.

(Implying trigger happy ICE agents shoot innocent people, then you have to dig into the story and there’s a lot more to it.)

A federal ICE agent trying to arrest an undocumented immigrant shot the Brooklyn man’s brother in the face during a wild Thursday morning scuffle, officials and witnesses said.

Two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, armed with a deportation order, were escorting the wanted man from a home on W. 12th St. near Quentin Road in Gravesend about 8:15 a.m. when his brother jumped into the fray. A single shot was fired, with the bullet tearing through the second sibling’s hand before striking him in the cheek, sources said. (Bet the scuffle caused an accidental discharge – sure appears that way.)

During the ensuing chaos, the wounded man ran back inside the home and barricaded himself inside before surrendering a short time later, sources said.

A video viewed by the Daily News shows one of the brothers struggling with the two agents, cursing at them in Spanish, when an agent wearing a light grey hoodie and a hat zaps him with a Taser as he’s propped against a car.

A second later the shot was fired, witnesses said. A law enforcement source said the wounded man was unarmed but was holding something in his hand at the time of the shooting.

“We saw people in the street, trying to get him handcuffed,” said a witness who wished not to be named. “There were a lot of people involved. The next thing I know there was this big bang.”

“I heard a shot and I ran,” she added. “I didn’t know if more shots were coming.”

a group of people standing in front of a crowd© Kendall Rodriguez Once everyone took cover, the woman’s daughter looked up and saw the agents giving medical aid to the wounded men.

“The person was lying on the floor with a towel on his head, bleeding profusely,” she said.

The man sought by ICE agents was stopped by the NYPD for driving around with a forged Connecticut license plate earlier in the week, sources said. ICE heard of the incident and began taking steps to arrest and deport him.

The undocumented immigrant, though the subject of a domestic violence investigation in 2016, didn’t land on the police’s radar until he was pulled over with the forged license plate, sources said.”   END OF NON-STORY

Once again, the liberal mainstream media undermines their own credibility because they just can’t pass up an opportunity to vilify ICE.  Why?  Because ICE represents the so-called racist policies of President Trump of course… geez, it just never ends, no wonder we are so divided.

Liberals and Rush Limbaugh Get a Big Surprise

by Jack

During President Trump’s state of the union speech, he paused to bestow a rare honor on Rush Limbaugh.  At the time he was sitting in the gallery beside the First Lady, Melania Trump.  He seemed genuinely shocked when the president made this historic announcement.

  • First Lady Melania Trump presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh during Tuesday’s State of the Union address
  • The conservative radio host appeared shocked and emotional as he stood to receive the honor next to the First Lady
  • He had arrived in a wheelchair to attend tonight’s address
  • Trump invited the radio host following his shock cancer diagnosis
  • Limbaugh, 69, broke the news of his advanced lung cancer during his radio program on Monday
  • President Trump tweeted his well wishes for his friend some hours later, describing him as a ‘great guy’
  • Limbaugh and Trump are longtime friends and have been spotted golfing together on a number of occasions

Limbaugh received the Freedom Medal, the highest civilian award possible for his contributions to America and to the defense of the principles handed down by our founders.

His radio career as America’s #1 talk show host has lasted for decades.  During that time  he has inspired many conservatives to take a stand against the insanity coming from the loud mouth, bullies on the far left.

Despite their (far left) attempts to censor him, scare off his sponsors and run him out of business, he only grew stronger and more popular.  Much to the chagrin of liberals, he was absolutely unbeatable in the ratings.  His ideas and thoughts on democracy were consistently brilliant and inspirational.  Yet, despite his fame and fortune he was always  courteous to the whiney progressive callers who often vehemently disagreed with him.

Limbaugh may well go down in history as the best there ever was at what he did, he set the bar so extremely high.   He was part showman, part patriot and part orator par excellence.

For conservatives everywhere, this award could not have happened to a more deserving guy.  For liberals, it was yet another agonizing defeat, one that caused generalized anxiety and depression across their socialist rank and file. Can you imagine how liberals must feel knowing their arch enemy shares this great award with Mother Theresa and Rosa Parks?  I think it was a brilliant idea and I’m glad he got it.

By all counts, 2020 will not be a good year to be a liberal.   RECALL GOV. NEWSOM!

Yeeehaw – Trump Delivers

Posted by Jack

“WASHINGTON (AP) — Standing before a Congress and nation sharply divided by impeachment, President Donald Trump used his State of the Union address Tuesday to extol a “Great American Comeback” on his watch, just three years after he took office decrying a land of “American carnage” under his predecessor.

The partisan discord was on vivid display as the first president to campaign for reelection while facing impeachment made his case for another term: Republican legislators chanted “Four More Years.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped up her copy of Trump’s speech as he ended his address.

“America’s enemies are on the run, America’s fortunes are on the rise and America’s future is blazing bright,” Trump declared. “In just three short years, we have shattered the mentality of American decline and we have rejected the downsizing of America’s destiny. We are moving forward at a pace that was unimaginable just a short time ago, and we are never going back.”

Richard Nixon – He Was a Good President

by Jack

Richard Nixon, the 37th president of the United States, has frequently been referred to as a bad president because of the Watergate incident.  But, remove that one blotch on his record and you have a pretty effective guy, perhaps one of the most effective in our nations history.

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that Nixon was the president that got us out of the Vietnam war, he turned around our economy around and opened up China’s market to the US.  He also had a reform plan for healthcare way back in 1974 and he was very keen on environmental protections.

For example, “In these dark times when federal budget deficits (not federal debt) frequently roam around the $1 trillion mark, most Washington officials would probably sell their mother for a deficit of only $23 billion. But make no mistake—to the Nixon administration, this was a terrifyingly large number. So large, in fact, that Nixon was prepared to do something unthinkable to a modern-day Republican—he declared himself a Keynesian in 1971, and unleashed a bag of economic tricks so overwhelmingly liberal it would make Obama blush.

The New Economic Policy changed the course of history. It combined massive stimulus designed to increase employment with an uncoupling of the dollar from the Bretton Woods exchange system, essentially eliminating the link between the dollar and gold. The knock-on effect of this has been enormous. It’s the reason why we didn’t go through a devastating crash in 1987 and one of the reasons we’re in recession now.

This “Nixon shock” managed to knock around $17 billion off the deficit in three years. Imagine the praise Obama would have received for sweeping away 70 percent of the deficit in under one term, and try to argue that Nixon doesn’t deserve more credit for this.”

Nixon’s worst mistake was authorizing the Watergate burglary, but even this was probably forgivable if he had pled his case before the public.  Nixon had information the Chinese were trying to influence the presidential election and had been funneling campaign money to the DNC using shell companies.  Hindsight says there was good reason to suspect this, but we” never know now, because Nixon never finished his investigation.

Here’s another factoid that ought to make liberals faint… “Speaking of Nixon’s liberal credentials—it’s only by a tiny margin that your grandparents weren’t getting all worked up about “Nixoncare” in 1974. That’s right—32 years before Romney did it, and 34 years before Obama stole Romney’s idea (and somehow made him campaign against it), Nixon was trying to ensure affordable healthcare for the entire US population.

Just like Obamacare, his system would have utilized private employer-sponsored insurance, while extending subsidies to those too old or ill to work. And just like Obamacare, it would have stayed out of the regulation game with hospital budgets. It was a hugely popular move on the administration’s part and fellow Republicans absolutely lapped it up. In fact, the only reason it didn’t pass was that the Democrats thought it wasn’t liberal enough and voted against it. That’s the exact same policy they later expended lots of political capital forcing into law, while the Republicans who dreamed it up destroyed themselves fighting against it. It’s a weird world we live in.”

CA Governor Issues Executive Order for Homeless Camps

by Jack

RECALL GOV. NEWSOM – LINK BELOW

Gov. Gavin Newsom issued an Executive Order last wed. that will open Cal Trans properties for homeless encampments.  The cities and counties that were faced with sanitary problems, health issues and criminal activity were forced to stop their abatement and cleanup activities to remove rat infested camps from State property.

This has severely impacted cities and counties throughout the state in ways that have citizens hopping mad!  Some of the Cal Trans properties in question has so-called homeless camps with all their trash, drugs and crime coming face to face with residents in residential neighborhoods and school zones.  This was the final straw for many

Californians.’  A grass roots effort to recall Newsom is underway and it’s momentum is getting national attention.

Newsom was thought to be presidential material when he was elected by progressives, but in his short tenure even they have had to take pause and question what’s happening in Sacramento.   Literally hundreds of millions of dollars are be foolishly spent on housing for the homeless, while citing a mythical shortage of affordable housing as cause of homeless in CA.

Affordable housing is not the problem,  it’s drug addiction, alcohol addiction, bums looking for a free ride and the progressive’s policies.  We have a methamphetamine epidemic, along with all the other illegal drugs – they are at the center of the homeless problem.  Lack of affordable housing ranks way down the list of things that we should look at first.

Tiny houses won’t solve this drug and alcohol addiction, it’s not even a good first step.  Oh, tiny houses might help 2 or 3% of those we consider at risk, but what about those others, those who really don’t want help,  those who want their drugs, their booze and want to be free from societies obligations?  They represent the bulk of the homeless.

They have made real bad life choices that resulted in severe damage to themselves in ways that no amount of rehab or money can repair.  They are beyond medical or psychiatric help.  They exist at an almost sub-human level and that’s the sad truth.  This is the truth that the democrat lawmakers won’t admit.  Why?  Because they have a personal interest in all those millions being spent on low income apartments, shelters and tiny houses.  There is just too much money involved, too many corrupt people involved in kickbacks and contracts for homeless projects.  Handing out project money equals power for dems, they don’t want to lose that power!

During a recent United Way Outreach to move homeless into safe shelters, as police evicted them from their tent compounds on city property, social workers were met by a lot of hostility and non-compliance.  Despite the eviction notices and the generous offers to help move them into safe shelters these homeless would have none of it!  Why?  Because they can’t do drugs or drink in safe shelters – there are rules.  The shelters have too many rules for them, so they remain outside the system, supporting their addictions by illegal methods and well meaning people who give them money.

In the latest eviction effort, city workers had to get a 16 yard dumpster to haul off the trash from just one woman’s encampment.   It was also necessary to have extensive hauling by dump trucks for the trash from other camp sites.  As for the tents, clothing, bicycles, etc., left behind, the city had place these items in a dry storage for 90 days according to CA law.  A 40,000 square foot warehouse at the City Corp yard now acts as a storage building.

One of the cleanup sites was a 2 acre lot within the city limits, but then it was found to be half owned by Cal Trans and about 70% of the encampments were on the Cal Trans side of the property.  Police and City workers stopped their abatement as a result of Governor Newsom’s Executive Order.

People you really have no idea of what the bums and junkies are costing taxpayers and small business across the state, it is outrageous.   This is a health and financial crisis 100% created by democrats in control of the state government.    RECALL NEWSOM.

Impeachment – High Crimes and Misdemeanors

by Jack

What is a high crime and a misdemeanor?  In a historical context, a high crime is an offense that goes back hundreds of years to England.  This was held to be any offense committed by a person of high status and not a commoner.

For example: For example, charges in the impeachment of Edward Russell, 1st Earl of Orford in 1701 included many violations of trust in his positions.] In this case, he abused his position in the Privy Council to make profits for himself; as Treasurer of the Navy he embezzled funds.

In the United States we have three kinds of offenses, infractions, misdemeanors and felonies.  Infraction of the law carries only a fine and no jail time.  The other two types are offenses that could include a fine and or jail time.

Logic holds if it is above the level of a misdemeanor then it must be a felony.  Because we do not actually have high crimes because we do not have Earls or Dukes. But, back in the day of the founders, we called felonies a “high crime” it was a direct  carryover from English law and part of an established tradition.

In the impeachment of President Donald Trump we have a big problem, rather, the democrats have a big problem.  Exactly what law did Trump break?  The case against him does not name the law, it only alleges he committed an abused of power, a quid pro quo.  An abuse of power?  Where’s the law on that one?  Nobody seems to know, certainly not the democrats.

It must be proved that he is guilty of either a misdemeanor or high crime aka felony.  So where is it?  Answer:  There is no such thing as an abuse of power offense!  It has to be defined as a specific offense, perjury, embezzlement, theft, spying, extortion, etc., these are all defined and carry specified penalties.  Abuse of power as an offense that simply does not exist.  The democrats wanted to impeach Richard Nixon for an abuse of power, but the underlying abuse was really the crime of conspiracy to commit burglary.  Of course he was not impeached because he resigned first.

At this point, and based on the actual impeachment complaint and all the testimony so far, we still do not have a chargeable criminal offense.  This is the worst hatchet job in our nations history.

This impeachment trial process is not and was never designed to be, a fishing expedition!  Either the law has been broken or it hasn’t.  If it was broken, then the democrats better declare it, but they can’t.  This started back in the House and it should have been noted in the “points and authorities” contained within the original impeachment complaint, but it wasn’t.  If they can’t… they’ve got absolutely nothing!  Although, if that is the case, then all this hullaballoo has been for nothing – there is your gross example of abuse of power.   This appears to be nothing more than a despicable, partisan political stunt designed to weaken the president and the democrats totally bungled it.

This case is bogus and it should never have been used for impeachment.
