Goodbye Mailbox Merchants

exterior_image.gif

I have successful ended my mailbox's unsolicited relationship with "Mailbox Merchants," whose advertisements consistently highlight all of the products that I don't purchase.

If this is true for you as well, here is the information to be removed from their mailing list (you can either write a letter or make a phone call):

Client Services

Next on my hit list: Market Value Place

Good luck with Market Value Place, I will stay tuned to see how you do. You may remember I wrote to you of my misadventures trying to get Dave Little and the ER to stop sending me that junk.

I sent them a copy of the form letter I got from Mailbox Merchants, filling it out with the correct info. But, months later, well beyond the suggested wait period, I still get their mailbox full of dead tree pulp. I finally decided to turn the other cheek and throw it right from my mailbox into my "recycling" bin. But if you have success, I will try again. thanks for your efforts - Juanita

Hi Jeremy,

Happy Sustainable Thanksgiving to you and yours!

well it's Wednesday and I'm expecting my usual mailbox full of pulp from the Enterprise Record Market Value Place. I am looking in to see if you have any luck getting rid of that thing. Keep posting, I know I'm not the only one!

Here's a good recipe for all the Meyer's lemons that are ripening right now - Hot Lemonade (good remedy for colds)
squeeze half a lemon in a cup; add a clove of garlic, crushed; add about a tablespoon of honey; fill the cup with hot water. Drink it as hot as you can, it will really brighten your day. If you really want to live it up, put in a sliver of fresh horseradish - WOWSERS!

Again, Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Jeremy,
Are you still getting your pile of pulp every Wednesday? I am. keep me posted if anything changes for you - thanks again and enjoying your blog - JS

Juanita,

Thanks for asking. It looks like I have been successful in my quest to stop unwanted weekly mailers! I will be writing an entry on this in the near future.

Thanks for the info!
