Leaves and Mustangs

I couple of items around Chico have caught my eyes (and ears) of late.

There appears to be a growing handful of folks in this town who drive shiny, loud Ford Mustangs. I can't say that I view this as a positive trend.

But, I have noticed three lawns in the process of being covered with cardboard and fallen leaves, to be replaced with--I would hope--drought-tolerant and/or edible landscapes.

I would like to see the lawn conversions outpace Mustang purchases. Yes, that would be pleasant.

And while I am at it, a hearty thank you to all of those who are raking their leaves by hand, or at the very least using electric leaf blowers, rather than gas powered blowers.
