I have mentioned Michael Pollan a few times on this blog. The first book of his that I read was The Botany of Desire, published in 2001. Like his other books, it speaks to anyone who appreciates the human connection to the plant world.

Last month it aired as a PBS documentary, and you can see it for free on the PBS website.
